More math, for my fellow geeks: 1.55% of the cards were good pulls (compared to 1.67% from your boosters), # of packs to get a pull = 5.88 (compared to 5.44), 17% of the packs had pulls (18.38%) and the ratios were 10% GX/4% FA/3% SR (11.1%/4.93%/2.35%). So while not exactly scientific with only 50 boxes, at least the 3% secret rares is nice.
Yes, I like maths as much as Dan. BTW, it's 80 packs you would have needed for 2-fer, not 100 (that would have been 25%).

What the numbers mean is ON AVERAGE, they got fewer GX/Full Arts from the trainer boxes than they did from opening booster boxes. So, if you are just looking for cards, buy boosters. But if the storage box, dice and sleeves that come in ETBs are something you need, then they are still worth it.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the secret rare trainers in this set are appearing slightly more frequently than in SM base.

What I find funny is it takes some people 1 hour to open 36 packs, but it takes them 1 hour to open 400 packs. Mind blowing!!!

I mean if you average it to sealed booster boxes you're right in the average. 400 packs = ~11boxes. If we assume that there is 6-7 hits per box you're looking at 66-77 total hits. So I'd say you did a-ok on this opening. :D

I have seen so many SR DCEs pulled. They are way more common than Ultra Balls.
I'm new to the channel and this is my first video. What do you guys do with all the "bulk" cards?
I find it funny back in 2010 I think I was the first pokemon seller using the word duplicates on my Pokemon card lot listings on ebay and I sold a lot of them. Then everybody else on ebay started to copy from my listing. Now everybody uses the term duplicates instead of doubles. I don't sell Pokemon card lots anymore.
I don't know why but I always buy an elite trainer box first before buying anything else from new sets

never in my life have I been as dumbfounded by a box as guardians rising. opened a booster box today (my 3rd so far) still no DCE goodness but not one. not two but one of each type of tapu lele. and to top it off a secret rare lightning energy. 8 hits total... my jaw was on the ground
