  • On this day I travel to Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. I stop at a couple places on the way to downtown and end up in Playa Hermina afterwards. The drone footage is awesome. On the way back to Las Marias I took the back roads and ended up at Guajataca State Forest.

Hi, Ovi! The strange tree that you show in your video are what we call in Puerto Rico "Uva Playera", because all those seeds (they are the fruit from the tree) turn into a deep purple when they mature and they are very tasty (BTW, when they are mature they tend to stain, specially the clothes, so handle with care! 😁😁😁!!!) I really love them, they are a "sweet treat" from the coast. 👍👍👍

The fruits at Puerto Hermina are called " sea grapes" or "uvas de playa". The leaves are used to compress the mass (?) When making alcapurrias. Next you see someone making alcapurrias, see that they take the masa and they roll it on these leaves before they fry them.

I did visit Isabella once back in March of this year. I have two videos of that town. One of the videos was with Hayden. It's a big town with many attractions and I only scratched the surface. Will have to go again.
