Puerto Rico is the birthplace of my parents (both are from Aguadilla). I was born and raised in Philadelphia. However, I was fortunate enough to live on the island from age 18 to 20, long enough to get a good taste of what life is like on Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is a slice of heaven, here on earth. The people, the culture, the natural beauty and of course, the amazing food. My favorites are pasteles, vianda con bacalao and all of the "frituras". Un saludito al pueblo de Puerto Rico. Thank you for a wonderful video and the memories of all that is good on the island...P.S. Although I loved Medalla (beer) , after a long days work nothing hits the spot like a chilled HEINEKEN ! 😂😂

I learned a lot about the culture and history of Puerto Rico, and I got to see some of the beautiful scenery. I would love to visit Puerto Rico someday. New Sub!💖💖

Really well done, great cross-section of la comida criolla. We lived there probably before you were born, 1989. We love Puerto Rico! Thanks so much!
Thank you! Still so much more to explore, can't wait to return.
I cried watching this. This brought back so many memories. My only one wish is that we could eat a more balanced diet more greens. She had mentioned that the food is very rich and it is. Absolutely delicious. Unpopular opinion, I know, but I hate to see so many beautiful people obese.
Thank you so much for sharing. Very happy to hear that my video brought back memories.
Wowzers, this is the BEST video tour ever!!! Your tenderness made me tear up too.
Wow, thank you!
Dale Bo·ri·cua!!!
I really love this video, I never though I would cry watching someone crying while eating a limber, but that is something that we are connected to. My Abuela used to sell them so to me was emotional as well. I do love this video because it is well made, the way you explain the food, cultural background and all that is really nice, one of the best video I've seen from people coming to PR - thank you for that
That means so much. Thank you
Good review of the places where you were restaurants good images I like your narrative🇵🇷
Thank you so much 🙂
This one ☝🏿 is one of my fav videos great job!!
I appreciate that!
Omg. Just seeing the limber lady coming to the window made me tear up. My granma in Corozal sold limbers and candies from her house also. Thank you for this video! ❤ I’ll be there next week and my first stop is the limber lady and el Mercado en Santurce!
So happy you'll get to experience this too. 💓 🤗
My beautiful “islita del encanto”
Girl!!! I’m in minute 12 and I have to go back to my island. The passion fruit, the tamarind, la tripleta, la farina, la avena, Old San Juan, piraguas, la mallorca. Visual overload. Thanks for sharing. ❤
I feel you! I've been counting the days since I left. ❤️🇵🇷
Thanks!
Thank YOU! ✨️🎊✨️🎊
Girl you hit it out of the park with your video ...I felt like I was there eating with you ...I live in Pennsylvania and it's been 27 years since I was in Borinquen eating to my hearts content ; I was born on another island , Manhattan , but while on my first visit to the island at age 25 ( I didn't even speak Spanish ) I met and fell in love with a jibarita ( country girl ) who had a 24 inch waist and 34 inch hips and caused me to live in Puerto Rico for 15 years , I feel in love with the natural beauty of the island ...I believe that it is the original Garden of Eden ! Thank you for a wonderful video and the memories of all that is good on the island...P.S.
Although I loved Medalla (beer) , after a long days work nothing hits the spot like a chilled HEINEKEN ! 😂😂
Thanks for watching!
When you pulled the Tamarindo out of your pocket 😂 You are adorable! Thank you so much for this wonderful tour. Watched every minute; going to check out many of the wonderful things you suggested. Thank you so much!!
😅 Filming can get a little hectic sometimes. Thanks for watching! 🫶
I have traveled much of the world, but you brought me to Puerto Rico. I am going in a few weeks and would love to follow your path, but I am only coming on a cruise so I am here and gone.
You make the country come alive to me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you can give me a couple of hints for downtown San Jose, I would appreciate it.
I really enjoyed your tempo, musica, and amor for the country.
Thank you for showing the world how beautiful Puerto Rico really is. And as wonderful and flavorful as the food is, the people are the real show, they are warm, friendly, and proud. It’s a beautiful place for a vacation and only a couple of hours by plane. Again thanks!
Couldn't agree more!
I'm leaving for my trip to Aguadilla in less than 24 hours, so naturally I wanted to look up some PR food vids and this came up.
Gotta say, probably the best I've found so far. Thanks for the tour!
Have fun!
This made me really excited to move to Puerto rico soon!!
So good to hear! And there was so much more I didn't get to on this trip!
OMG! Saw the mavi (one of my favorite drinks) sign and just wanna go back to get some, that's a beverage I have not had in over 20 years.
Everything looks sooo delicious thank you for taking us with you 😁
