Have you heard anything about the organic based hoses used by german car companies being eaten by various animals? I have a friend in Scottsdale AZ who has a neighbor, who's had two cars disabled with costly repair bills, due to this issue. I enjoy your videos. Scotty Milner for head of the NSA.

Subaru and Toyota already make their own electric vehicles. Subarun Soltera, is the same as Toyota BZ4x. So this combined work with be extension of that car platform.
@devoacdc I would love to visit Japan actually. They seem to have a very unique culture, and from what I've seen in pictures, video, etc. it looks like a very interesting place with some beautiful places. If I ever get to travel outside the US that's the first place I want to go.
I'm almost 78 yo. I have owned somewhere between 60 and 65 vehicles in my lifetime. My daily is a 2015 Scion FRS (aka BRZ). It just turned ten years old and 74,000 miles. It's a manual. Zero issues so far with this car. Yes, ZERO ! Also, the most fun to drive vehicle I've ever owned, fits me like a glove as well. And yes the first digit of it's VIN is a J. Born in Japan beats just anywhere else for reliability.
One of our Rav4s break hoses failed. Sime mechanic had put inin backwards after break replaced and the hose rubbed against moving parts. It took 3 check outs before someone noticed despite complaints that breakung not feeling right.
I think their going to start adding more chemicals into the fuel supply that causes the old technology when it's time. Kinda like their doing with the food Supply.
Scotty's dedication to and love for cars, and the amount of time and hard work that he puts into it, is unbelievable and unparalleled. He's the one-and-only.
Will Scotty I heard someone say that diesel exhaust goes 25 ft in the air and then it goes back to the ground and it's just carbon. It's the gasoline that goes up in the atmosphere. Diesel cars get better gas mileage anyway. What do you think? Should they just switch everything to diesel?
Could you make a review on Toyota hybrid and how long it takes to order them? I heard for a Toyota Highlander hybrid now the wait is like a year to 1 1/2 years. Can you confirm that ?
I like Subaru, I admire Toyota, I know Mazda last long, but I hate hybrids, and tech vehicles. I stay with my 2nd one VW diesel truck, hopefully last long times as my 1st one 10 yrs, with ZF manual tran. And pretty much old tech.
Being a mechanic of 35 years I generally never lock the turn signals on, I push the lever to keep the turn signal lights flashing. If you lock them flashing it might break someday, the cancelling cams wear out, especially domestic vehicles.
Interesting I always wondered why that happened. I've owned a few vehicles to to where I had to manually get moving the turn signal up an down for it to work. Eventually I had to replace it after breaking.

Maybe the BRICS countries can work together to build ICE vehicles with manual Windows, manual locks, manual transmissions, manual parking brakes that have good transmissions and good engines
Hey scotty I have a 2018 toyota tacoma i was wondering how i can make this truck quit transmittind and recieving to the outside from being tracked ? only reason im asking one day my truck just started up by itself and it doesnt have remote start i think the totaltarins in my neck of the woods are playing games again and im going to start playing back i didnt last time cause i just looked at them like the prepubescent little boys they where i guess they still never figured out i knew the whole time😂
I hope that these new hybrids from this merger have better battery terminals than Honda's hybrids: "Transport Canada said Honda hybrid CR-V (FHEV) 2023 models may have faulty high-voltage batteries. The recall was first issued on Oct. 3, then updated earlier this week. The federal agency says some of the batteries' negative terminals may be defective and break, which could cause sparks that may lead to fire or injuries." CTV News Published Oct. 18, 2024
I would probably drive an electric car to get around town as long as it can't be hacked or operated remotely in any sort of way. Just make a simple one without all the bull crap
Then again it could randomly catch on fire. If there was one that would not catch on fire hey it was just a simple car without all the computerized bull crap and I could just drive it then I would probably get one
Then again I sort of like just driving my truck. Of course I don't want to drive it around town every day until it's paid off because the gas is too much unless Trump get in office and then we can have freedom
I think people aren't buying those electric cars mostly because of advertising. They don't advertise them read if they do then they don't do it very well and they probably do it on TV and I don't watch tv. I didn't even know Ford was making those electric cars that you showed on your channel until I saw them on your channel. But yet everyone knew about Tesla's
Scotty ,tthey did an undercover investigation of various mechanics places to see what honesty factor of actual diagnosis was few years back in Ga. Every place they used failed 😢
I think women preferring a robot can over a regular can is that they feel that they won't be sexually harassed by the robot taxi driver. That being said a Tesla robot would 100% be the first robot to harass a woman knowing what I know about ol Elon
I'll just keep my 97" Accord; at least I can work on it. I save $145 an hr for a dirty mechanic NOT to work on my car. I wouldn't mind paying, if I got what I paid for...but I get dirty, greasy seats, broken engine mount bolts, and just poor work in general.
Never really cared for Toyota. I'm into GM. Preferably the classics. I'm all about the classics. The throaty sound of a V8 engine is music to my ears all day every day. I only buy classics. 70s and below for me only.
Hey Scotty I'm looking at a 02 toyota tacoma sr5 prerunner with 204000 miles with the 3.4 v6 it's pristine you can tell it was very well taken care of, they want 8995.00 is that an ok deal?
There is a ton of oil and energy in Russia. The Middle East Iran the Arab countries Pakistan. The United States is destroying the car industry because of their conflicts with the countries who have energy
Guess Subaru and Toyota have not realized there is a very limited market for EVs. I hope their work will not come at the expense of creating reliable and affordable cars with ICEs.
You are absolutely right about subways (i.e. trains.) Sadly, Americans don't believe in trains, so we're forced to use autos, which puts us way behind most other industrialized countries. Planes are not efficient for travel between moderately distanced population centers and are a major source of pollution.

What’s the best car and suv to buy🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽please tell me
The simple truth about ford and GM is it's not just a mechanical issue but also an engineering issue.
Pissing on their customers every chance they get.
You sure love your imports. Calling a weak, boring and useless honda element a well-made vehicle, forces me to stop watching your video.
Jiffy Lube oil change company put "True Brand" "Fuel Juels" in my gas tank when I made the mistake of taking my Dodge Ram there for an oil change. I found a 21 year old diamond 2003 Honda Accord coupe with only 96,000 miles
I don't understand I have my hybrid prius 12yrs old no problem at all 178000miles only oil change tires and spare batt change can't beat such a reliable car
That’s a nice catalytic converter you got there
245,000 on my 2015.. still running with only a couple of minor repairs
My 06 Prius at 173 k miles, still going. Just changed the front wheel bearings. 18 years old and still going.
I just bought a 24 Rav hybrid, this is good to hear.
I just bought my wife a Toyota Crown and I'm expecting the same longevity of the Prius. 100% Japanese made as the Prius.
My next vehicle will have NO computers and easy to maintain, service and replace worn components myself. All they have to do is build it.
My 1964 Studebaker GT Hawk meets those criteria!
In the market for a Model T I suppose....

Not by a long shot. You obviously have never owned a model T.
If you want a car with out computer s then you're going to have to get a seventies car.🤗☺️👍🏼🇺🇸
Subaru and Mazda now have ties with Toyota. The quality of Mazda and Subaru has also increased over the past 10 years.
really?? if Subaru and Toyota make a hybrid together I will seriously consider because none of the new Toyota models quite fit my needs anymore. Half of them have done away with spare tires and opening roofs.
😂😂
Haven't we seen cracks in the mighty Toyota armor the last few years?
The newer Subaru F engine is a hot leaky mess and thermostat failure. My 2001 engine is better.
Scotty has already said that, many times.
gm should have gone out of business back in 08 instead of being bailed out by tax payers.
I pretty much agree but I'm from Detroit so I'm reluctant to go all in!
Yep. My '08 ram keeps having issues. I want to get a cert pre owned car once the economy gets better probably a few months into the new year

@@jflores85 Stellantis has turned the tables on quality! They went from not very good to complete garbage in only a few years!
GM should have gone out of business in the 70s, but they were able to coast for decades on all that WW2 money. They spent the last of it on Saturn.
It’s too bad that Toyota doesn’t get Subaru’s symmetrical AWD system with a regular GEARED transmission.
Or perhaps Subaru would drop the WORTHLESS CVT
I wouldn't be surprised if they try to fix the brake hose issue with a software update.
I'm not buying anything that requires a software update.
People will just blame Subaru if the car sucks. Smart move
Ford kind of split the difference by separating their electric vehicle operations into a separate company. This way they can stick the risk entirely with that company, which also makes it much easier to shutter - if necessary.
How is a joint venture a merger?
When you smoke a joint together with a MOS, it is inevitable a merger will occur.

Then again there would be too many computerized things in it like you said
I drove an International Semi that beeped a warning when you left a turn signal on too long

Honestly I am not impressed with modern Toyota, I think this will only further lower the Toyota quality
Maybe the BRICS countries can work together to build ICE vehicles with manual Windows, manual locks, manual transmissions, manual parking brakes that have good transmissions and good engines
Id buy that element, they are awesome.
Hey scotty I have a 2018 toyota tacoma i was wondering how i can make this truck quit transmittind and recieving to the outside from being tracked ? only reason im asking one day my truck just started up by itself and it doesnt have remote start i think the totaltarins in my neck of the woods are playing games again and im going to start playing back i didnt last time cause i just looked at them like the prepubescent little boys they where i guess they still never figured out i knew the whole time😂
I've never seen someone so pleased with themselves when they point out the obvious.
Ford brakes failing is why I will not buy a vahicle with out a hand brake operated by a cable !
Names can gain interest in a different way
Scotty, instead of laughing horses, cows etc pics in the corner you could just use Kamala’s face and save the animals
Next week: Toyota is going out of business!
I hope that these new hybrids from this merger have better battery terminals than Honda's hybrids:
"Transport Canada said Honda hybrid CR-V (FHEV) 2023 models may have faulty high-voltage batteries.
The recall was first issued on Oct. 3, then updated earlier this week. The federal agency says some of the batteries' negative terminals may be defective and break, which could cause sparks that may lead to fire or injuries." CTV News Published Oct. 18, 2024
Can you give the name of the lawyer that helps you out every time someone tries to sue you for saying something? 😂
Johnny Cochran. If he can get oj off, he can get anyone out of legal troubles
You don't need one if what you say is true or opinion. Scotty knows this so he wouldn't waste the money.
Alexander Shunnarah
To many stupid people buying crap.... don't buy it!!
Toyota and Hyundai also have an FCEV alliance
Scotty ,tthey did an undercover investigation of various mechanics places to see what honesty factor of actual diagnosis was few years back in Ga. Every place they used failed 😢
Solid state cometh
Should join up with yt.. cause were dumping them too.
I think women preferring a robot can over a regular can is that they feel that they won't be sexually harassed by the robot taxi driver. That being said a Tesla robot would 100% be the first robot to harass a woman knowing what I know about ol Elon
Does that mean the employees are going to smoke joints? 🤪
Are there any mechanics from NW Ga. with a tenth of the integrity Scotty has to trust for inspection and advise ? I need one so badly
Southside tire down here in Carrollton
@@josheverett2253 Mechanic too?
I don't know why, but I have a suspicion that Scotty likes Toyota.
I'll just keep my 97" Accord; at least I can work on it. I save $145 an hr for a dirty mechanic NOT to work on my car. I wouldn't mind paying, if I got what I paid for...but I get dirty, greasy seats, broken engine mount bolts, and just poor work in general.
So find a better/cleaner mechanic,or, like you said fix it yourself, like I do (mines a 99 Ford ranger, easy peezy).
@@Janderlie13-ik8rc There are no mechanics that take pride in what they do, so I fit it myself.
@@ZacVaper Same thing here! I've heard mechanics joke about how they screwed some people out of big $ just because they could!
I suspect Toyota will not fall into the trap of propping up Chinese industry for their batteries.
A name change is nothing but an attempt to obfuscate..."a rose by any other name..."
Flying hands! :D
Hey Scotty I bought a Model Y …. Holy kazoly aaaaaamazinnnnng!
"HA HA - HAHAHA!" Gotta love that hyena!!
HAAAHHH ha ha hA HA ha !! Scotty breaks me up!!
Toyota company is the smartest of them all
9V electric Toybaru
Never really cared for Toyota. I'm into GM. Preferably the classics. I'm all about the classics. The throaty sound of a V8 engine is music to my ears all day every day. I only buy classics. 70s and below for me only.
Yeah, that GM is LOOOONNNGGGG gone.
@@alpine1600s but the classics will still last.
Everything lasts if you have lots of dinero lol😅@vinniemartinez6125
Amen brother 😊
@jasonthrash4357 you know wassup what I'm saying here. Hell yeah 🤘😎🥃👍👌🍻
No thank you, hybrid ok but not all electric.
WOW Scottie is still around? Huh, thought he left us years ago. Is this AI or what?!?
Manufacturers keep cheap inflating the prices of gasoline engines so they can make electric vehicles look more attractive🤦🏼
Thanks for great videos
I'd rather own a Daihatsu.
I thought Toyota were putting their research into Hydrogen powered cars?
Sadly, the Quality of Toyota has Fallen over the last few years, ask any Good Mechanic...
Again...lost me at 'electric' 😂
This is great content.
I am just sitting here laughing because i bought a tacoma while they keep buying and leasing dog poop cars
iNTERESTING
Hey Scotty I'm looking at a 02 toyota tacoma sr5 prerunner with 204000 miles with the 3.4 v6 it's pristine you can tell it was very well taken care of, they want 8995.00 is that an ok deal?
@@fredmarch7669 it's a deal if it works for you... no pics, no carfax, no history...no answer 😆
There is a ton of oil and energy in Russia. The Middle East Iran the Arab countries Pakistan. The United States is destroying the car industry because of their conflicts with the countries who have energy
Scotty’s ancestors were Italian.
Japanese cars are better than most but it will shock the entire car industry.
Guess Subaru and Toyota have not realized there is a very limited market for EVs. I hope their work will not come at the expense of creating reliable and affordable cars with ICEs.
Scotty, remember "At Ford, Quality is Job One!" 🤣
No, that's quantity is job one...
Quality at Fooling the public. ☹️
nah im sticking to the prius. thank you very much.
They used to own part of Tesla too. Too bad they divested, otherwise they wouldn’t have to worry about having to make electric cars at all.
You are absolutely right about subways (i.e. trains.) Sadly, Americans don't believe in trains, so we're forced to use autos, which puts us way behind most other industrialized countries. Planes are not efficient for travel between moderately distanced population centers and are a major source of pollution.
I don’t want to ride in a train. People coughing. Mentally ill people. No thanks
It's actually the Car Lobby
@@MichaelSr-sp5pw so true! my own private car, thank you very much
Same here. Prefer my own car. Don't have to share with strangers. Can go where I want when I want and can have the temp set at my preference.
@@MichaelSr-sp5pw I don't understand why they don't make private spaces in train/subway cars that you can access for a premium.
Suburu is fun and creative. I am becoming a suburu fan boy.
I don't know about the EV but I'm down to try after my Gs350 takes a dump
Your car will easily outlast a Subaru having had four Subaru's. They need major repairs by 200,000 miles. Keep your Lexus.
