Brilliant guitarist, no pissing about shredding, a joy to hear.
This guy is really very good! Great guitar player and a classic blues! What else can we look for? Fantastic!

Very late reply here, but midnight blues and bird of paradise are phenomenal!
theres only one snowy white and you can hear it from a mile away. hes amazing! birds of paradise lead solo is the most stunning solo ive ever heard.
Snowy White was part of Pink Floyd's 1977 Animals tour. I saw them play in Miami.
Fantastic Again Snowy sweet sounds to my ears
I've only just stumbled on this dude, a friend of mine( lead guitarist from Eva Braun-band) Graham. God bless you and Sandra. Bro. This dude Snowy White's notes sound like the way I be feeling. This guy is amazing. Hes in a class all his own. Just fuckin AWESOME
Great Snowy White 🎸👏👏👏
well done....love it...

I'm a Strat player myself, but it's videos like this that make me think I should get a Les Paul. Here's my version of Little Wing Jimi Hendrix Style Clean Tones 2 (Little Wing) what do you think?
I have played Strats and Teles for decades but I went and got a Les Paul Studio in 2020. I have no regrets about that. Gibsons do not stay in tune as well as Telecasters do but the sound you get through a Marshall Tube amp. is remarkable. The Gibson Les Paul studio is light in weight and not too expensive.
@@MisterTMH Yeh I've heard Gibson style guitars aren't good for tuning, I think it's the shorter scale length that causes it, I've heard that's why PRS went with a longer scale...
Очень бы хотелось находиться там.. И в живую слушать эти произведения.. Beautiful
Mentality Classic Blues

His playing reminds me of Peter Green, obviously the LP has something to do with that!
I think he's good mates with Peter Green aswell. Snowy has such a sweet tone 🎸🎸
yes,him and peter green were extremely good friends,
Yes .. there are definitely echoes of Supernatural in there.
Nice but sounds like Snowy is playing "Midnight Blues", over 'Little Wing', chord progression......
Хорошо. 07.06.2020
can we put syd barrett og snowy together , somehow ?? plz
Under-rated by our plastic society.

Hammond and Les Paul. The heavenly duality.
No tricks, no stage antics. Just a band dressed in street clothes, playing great Blues. This is the way its supposed to be.
Never knew that there is a rule that blues has to be played in street clothes. Interesting news ...
@@joe22589 When you are wrapped up in your own ego,
more concerned with the visual impression you make on others, it doesn't matter how "good" your skills are.
Musicians dressed like cowboys and peacocks, prancing around the stage, making a spectacle of themselves,
is just false advertising. So when somebody just gets up
in ordinary clothing, plugs in, and plays great music, they have my full attention.
Agree 100%!
나뻐 그시댄.ㄴ 그랬구 ㄴ 구나
Pretty cool version, somewhat akin to Roy Buchanans version of Hey Joe on Austin city limits. For me the best version of that song by far is Steve Lukather on the Les Paul tribute show with his 59’ burst . Smokin hot 🔥
This is so unbelievably tasteful - to me it’s one of the best performances out there. I return to this video for years now. And again and again it makes me think: Yes! It all comes together so beautifully and really touching - the shining organ keeping up this vibrant tension, later the drum kicking in with just a few hits, the pure bass adding some ground to walk on, and, of course - Snowy. To me it seems they all did exactly what needed to be done. Great musicians but at no point a demonstration of technical skills, no deceiving attitudes - just pure bluesy sunlight…
Jawohl Mann du sprichst mir aus dem ❤.snowy ist der größte
Genius of nostalgia, I really love the way He plays, no wonder why He played with Pink Floyd , Waters invited Him for his solo projects
A brilliant player, he reminds me of Peter Green.
This music sends you to another planet the music not the wine
Just so beautiful, feel every note, that is how I feel the blues in a way that maybe I cant express myself
The first time I heard him was on Peter Green's lp In the Sky where he played Slabo day whatever that means. I saw the name Snowy White on the credits and I thought that it had to be an alias for some famous guitarist. But as I listened to the style I could not identify who it could be. Now I know Snowy White is for real
4:27 drops pick.. not two fucks given!
lol
boopdoop yeh man & why should he care . He don't need ONE ☺️
The finest example of a guitar gently weeping that I've ever heard
Only thing that would make this any better would have been Mick Taylor who was good friends with Jimi come out & play some of that fine guitar work with Snowy. That would have been something to see & hear. Such a fine cover here.
Don't forget gary moore he is even better
Don't forget gary moore he is even better
Hé did play with mick Taylor, there is a live recording of them on TH-cam
Wunderschöner Sound , mit Seele und feinstem Bluesfeeling gemacht
Superb blues, awesome guitar
It's uncanny how much this guys playing resembles Peter Greens! They played together after Peters fateful German trip & acid spike at the hands of Amon Duul. Now I wonder how much was him on those cuts & how much was Peter. Certainly Peter was & is a shadow of his former self sadly... A tragic reminder of the lethal potential of drugs to those with fragile psyches...
So true Peter Green was the most amazing guitarist. Love Snowy and Peter.
certainly does sound like earlier Green.
There is not a better version any where. Jimi would have loved it, I am sure. This is golden. Music is beautiful
Not even Eric Clapton and Duane Allman?? I beg to differ.
Each version of this most beautiful love song of the whole world and all times composed by Jimi is something beyond recognition!❤❤
Highly underrated amazing guitarist just love his work ,TOPMAN
Got a glass o wine sitting here just chillin out
The second man to give me chills, the first being Peter Green. This is breathtaking !!!!!
@Tom Bailey Peter is nassssstty listen to got a good mind to give up living live from warehouse
Snowy got to know Peter Green when he first moved to London. Peter had just left Fleetwood Mac and they jammed together on a number of occasions. Peter invited him to play on his 1979 album "In The Skies" and you can hear Snowy playing the solo on "Slabo Day".
Agreed!. Hell even snowy probably would
Snowy is amazing!!!!
What a fantastic music!! ammazing guitar solo !!
" The blues ain't nothing but a good man feeling bad...." - Shawn Selg R.I.P.
I gotta remember that one!
Give this man a minor key backing and watch the magic happen..
ok now its official ... next thing I m going to buy is a guitar and start learning it .... this is more than just awesome ... no words exist to describe this ... divine sounds!
esta melodía es preciosa 💖 es un profeta muy bonito
Hugely underrated guitarist. He really puts his own stamp on this. Definitely recommend further listening, especially "Midnight Blues".
try " how was it for you" , amazing song
@@jaja-pl7zt It is indeed. I saw Snowy live in support of Mick Taylor in Jerez, Spain in about 1990 and he was just superb. Much better than Taylor, whose work with the Stones I've always admired but who was definitely not at his best that night.
He has a particular style, so beautiful!
Great, you got the Blues in your hands !!
Que buena version ....con su sello propio....Gran Guitarrista....Gracias por compartir este video
Eric Clapton recently quoted “ people don’t listen to this music anymore . 500K views .
God bless the Blues
jamz0007 🤝👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Amen to that brother man. People that doesn't know how much it touches each and every person different and the truth of some of the best things in life and I'm sure thank God for the great gift of hearing the blues because it's the best music ever
@@julieanneaddison5033 people don’t have any soul anymore to appreciate this music
This is the music I love, but I don’t love Eric Clapton never have and never will.
Fuck Eric Clapton he’s a fucking asshole who stole everything he knows from the old black blues men. He’s never had an original thought in his life, he’s a racist and anti Vaxer.
The keyboard player played with Paul Kossoff way back in the time machine! Early 70s.
Absolutely beautiful.......as is the man himself.
All the same, when your heart hurts a lot of separation ameliorate Midnight Blues can help
Good version. Just like Jeff Beck he has the sense not to copy Hendrix but to put his own stamp on it. Any guitarist who tries to copy Hendrix will always finish up second best.
I am in tears. These notes reach me to my innermost core. Wow.
paradox ward I agree
paradox ward something about Blues that makes my soul shake deep inside like no other music!!
paradox ward yeh man very moving nice little choon ☺️
If I was walking down a busy side walk full of night clubs up and down the street and if I happen to pass a curtain club and I heard this guitar playing I would diffently recognize it was Snowy White I tell my self I know that voice it Snowy I would walk straight in and listen to what Snowy has to say on his Gold Top talk to me Snowy one note is all I need but 2 or 3 or 50 it would be all good Rock On...RocknRollFlat5
Guter Gitarrist...super Musik für an einem Sonntag früh
This man is now the English blues master after the passing of Greeny..he is almost a clone of PG's guitar work..had respect for each other and their collaborating was magic
Seeing him play with Thin Lizzy back in 78 was something to behold. He isn't a clone of anybody. Just a damn good guitarist.
I think it was '79 actually but could be wrong. I saw them at the Palladium in NYC with Graham Parker in '77 and again in late '78 with Blue Oyster Cult. I thought he played that day.@@keithalfredanthonydonovan3757
You can tell he plays from the heart ❤️ and love of the
music ☮️ I love the gold top
Les Paul ✌️
Amazing ! Love this guy!
New to my repertoire A I may be good for something after all. Them blues need to live on great raw talent .
belle hommage.... merci snowy délicat&grande finesse....
My good taste in music brought me here
In love with this song
holy crap! I never heard of this dude until this morning! Wheredafuq have I been all my life?? I mean I have heard him via PF and Thin Lizzy....
Saweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
A beautiful, haunting performance. Undertones of North African and Japanese sounds, in his guitar work. Something wonderful happens when you bring together a gifted guitarist, a great song, a superb band, and a Gibson guitar.
What a blessing to hear Mr.White lay this one down.
One of my favorite
times 😮
Not many can play this one!
Thank you ☮️✌️
Beautiful music!
It's always a risk taking on this song because you can't really top JH when he was in his prime. unmatched till this day and in a million years
La version de Little wing par Éric Clapton et Steve Windwood au Madison Square Garden est à écouter aussi
Elle est fantastique

definitely has a "brothers in arms" vibe to it
both snowy and rabbit are pre dire straits
Hywel 4 Yea im sure he knows that. He was just saying it has that vibe and it does. Doesnt mean anyone took from anyone
go a little further back to fleetwood mac in the days of Peter Greens pure blues genius
I am a fan of both Snowy White and also of Mark Knopfler but the truth is that Knopfler really ripped - off Snowy's 'Bird of Paradise' when he wrote and recorded the ' Brothers in Arms' song !
Amazing!
No 1 ,he must be very talented some are born Great some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrown on them thanks
Singularly unappreciative audience!😢 That deserved a standing ovation.👏
wicked. from a great guitarist
Snowy is the successor to Peter Green playing the Guitar King Jimi - how good does it get
20 years ago , magik.
to a friend and fellow 'blues traveler' like if Gilmore was a blues player"
Povero Jimi Hendrix!!! mi sembra una brutta copia dei Pink Floyd
love it.
A german saying: The tone makes the music! That's what it is!
Absolutely great blues!!! I am a new fan😎👌🥰❤️
Maaan does he makes that vintage 57 LP sing. Unbelievable tone.
Εξαιρετικός κιθαρίστας!
after you take all the airplay bullshit out of the mix, what you have left is the two greatest guitarist of all time,"SNOWY WHITE" and "ROY BUCHANON" period bar none
wow, thanks for sharing and what a great talent!!
just saw this today, near heard of Snowy before.
tx. d.k
Snowy was the lead guitarist of Roger Waters when he staged the whole album of The Wall, right there where the historical Berlin Wall used to stand. Snowy delivered every note of Gilmour to perfection
Rick DiFonzo played most of the Gilmour "stunt" solos on that show, but Snowy's presence certainly can't be understated.
looove his playing!!!
And to top it off that only covered this song very very well which is rare he played in Thin Lizzy to no doubt in my mind it's the truth I don't put nothing on my mouth that ain't real
I agree wholeheartedly with Dave

I do not understand his lifetime and Gary Moore this great Irish blues we love so much, just singing about midnight blues For her, blues is still alive "
