How can i set up the sound of the scan. In my mobile (iphone xr ios 13.5.1) sounds like a camara shoot, but i prefer the typical whistle like almost all barcode scanner. Thanks

Are you referring to multiple users scanning into a single Excel sheet? Scan-IT to Office fills row by row (or column by column, see options tab in the add-in). Unfortunately, it's not possible to specify a specific cell or column for a user. As a workaround, you may select the transmission of the device id or the device name (see options as well), using these identifiers you can assign scanned values to devices (and users). What databases can this be connected to? Is it possible to connect it to MS Access through online Sharepoint table ?

There is no limit. That is, the application does not limit the number of devices that you can connect simultaneously to Excel sheets (limited by system resources only, we have tested it with around 100 simultaneously connections). In the application settings, go to "Scanner Settings" and activate the "Batch Scan" mode.
Select the predefined standard input form "Barcode" and you are ready to continuously scan barcodes.

How do you scan into any selected cell ( not just the current default which is A
column’s first empty cell with no data in the next column)? Even if there’s data in the column right next to it

Hi! Batch scanning is supported in the "barcode scanner" mode (no special input form selected). To activate it go to Settings, Scanner Configuration and select Batch Mode.

Is there a way to link it to an excel spreadsheet to another spreadsheet to show additional information once the barcode is scanned? I hope this was enough to maybe understand what I am trying to say. I see you guys answer most comments on here.

Can this be used to scan receipts?
Hi! The answer is most likely yes - but it depends on your exact requirements. Scan-IT to Office scans barcodes, text (text recognition) and is also able to take photos. Hello! Yes, a drop-down list with fixed entries can be added to a form (create a new form, add a list field, enter the values line by line). A drop-down list that can be dynamically populated (in the first step with values from a database when using the Smart Database Connector) will be available in one of the next versions.
