I have the Tire Minder. This system is great it has saved us several times on both the trailer and the HD. It connects and runs in the background on your phone. I have not had an issue of it draining the battery either. Here is a link. Be sure to Use Two Wheels for s discount you can't get anywhere else. Thanks.

Yeah, I know I'm late to the party - two years after this first aired. However, your camera angles of the spectacular River Road are truly timeless. I have three takaways: 1) Yes, ATGATT is always gonna be sweaty but, apart from the obvious safety aspects, my skin is not going to broil under the merciless Alabama sun where I do most of my riding! 2) I thought I had given up SPAM a long time ago - that Jalapeno version has reawakened my taste buds! 3) You included a brief 8-second view of a night sky full of stars, away from big city light pollution. To me, this is one of the best camping experiences. More please?

In OZ, it’s no helmet, no ride. I had a break from riding a MC and got back on at 50yo. I invested in well ventilated gear (OZ is HOT), one can always layer to warm up in cold weather. My wife and I ride with full gear all the time including a airbag vest. We rode through the Mojave Desert this last summer in 106 degree and still wore full gear. Yes it was hot. Lots of fluids. Full gear does keep the sun from frying your skin which is a great benefit.

Fort Madison is a fantastic and well-known "railfan" spot. The BNSF railroad runs from Chicago to Los Angeles on its "transcon" (cross country) route.. Fort Madison is where it crosses the Mississippi River on a famous swing bridge. The town probably sees more than 80 trains a day combined in both directions..

2 “get offs” in 50+ yrs of riding, I’m living proof helmets save lives.
When my son was 16, he got the itch to ride. Knowing he’s not a gearhead and just wanted to hang with his school chums, I picked him up from school, plunked him in back of my bike and proceeded to jump on the freeway, cutting across 3 lanes of traffic with the front end about 18” off the ground. He’s 35 now and still has no desire to ever get on a bike; mission accomplished
    😉

when i was 17 I bought a new Yamaha XT225. Had it 6mo. Someone crossed the yellow line to pull into a parking lot 7 feet in front of me. I was doing 45. I hit just above the windshield of the car, face 1st. Then flew down the road 25 feet. hit the ground face 1st 4" away from a telephone pole. then slid another 25 feet. Both sides of my full face helmet were ground down to the foam inside from the front to the back and cracked the inside foam in half. When i went forward on the bike i crushed the gas tank and bent the handle bars straight forward.

I too wear all the gear I am able to. I started riding late in life (a few hears ago) but come from a bicycle racing background where those wrecks can be just as dangerous. I’d rather be a bit hotter than comfortable than unprotected. I just wish it was an easier process donning all that gear!😉. Thanks for another fun episode. I look forward to watching each episode while I travel for work all too frequently. It allows me to enjoy someone (your) else’s ride. Stay safe!

    LOVE the Emergency! show reference!
ATGATT! As someone said above: you don’t dress for the ride, you dress for the slide.
The interviews of the people at each site are new and bring the viewer into the location even more. Great job!

I believe in riding with protective riding gear even in 100-degree weather, also wear a Helite airbag vest, only accidents so far dropping the bike from a park or a stop. Love watching your bike adventures.

The next time you head into Wisconsin, you know when it’s not winter, I have a diner for you. 45 miles south of Milwaukee is Kenosha home of Franks Diner. A train car diner that’s been in continuous operation since 1923. Their signature dish is the breakfast garbage plate with their delicious homemade bread. Message I’ll ride over to join you.

That reminds me a couple of years ago my son was telling me he thought it would be cool to wear an open face helmet, and I told him right quick no way; he had to ride with a full-face helmet. It was only a few days later he low-sided it on wet pavement. Had he not had his full facial helmet on, his face would have been smeared all over the highway. I had a very mild but gentle "I told you so moment" with him, and he agreed with me. He has never suggested wearing an open face helmet again.

You guys should really think about getting a boot for your trailer tire. I would be really worried about leaving it and going out exploring on the bikes like you do. It recently happened to a couple on another channel I watch and they stole their trailer while they were out for a couple of hours. God forbid someone stole yours, thats your entire life right there. Stay safe guys!

I saw that video what a bummer. I do sometimes cable the rims. also the heim joint makes it hard to hook up to just anything.

Here in France, the majority of bikers ride well equipped and the police watch over it. Our life depends on it. There are too many deaths each year, often young people.
We have two motorcycles in the family (Moto Guzzi V7 + BMW 1250) and I have always educated my son on safety. Now he is 30 years old and owns a Suzuki Katana.
Thank you for your videos. You have immense spaces to discover and that makes us dream.
Ps : I remember the Monty Python comedy sketch in 1970 " Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam ... " 😁😂🤣😁😂🤣😁😂🤣 At the time, I only half understood the joke. Thanks to you, I understand better now !!!

I agree everyone is free to make their own choices when it comes to gear. I choose to wear ATGATT. Even so, I managed to break my collarbone back in Oct. After 6-weeks healing up, I got a clean X-Ray from my Dr and did a small Thanksgiving day ride. I’m so thankful to be back on the bike.
Keep the adventures coming. I look forward to each weeks episode. Cheers, Brad ATfromAZ

You guys are awesome. Helmets are a no brainer and thanks for sharing why. You mentioned laundry and had to pause cause wife took daughter and grand kids south out of state to other daughter and grandson and told me to remove clothes from dryer. I forgot so thanks. Cool how things just work out when you let them. Would like to have wife get on board to full time travel. Keep up the good work.

Hey Folks, I personally appreciate that you wear your safety gear. After a local poker run a young man asked me why I wear my leathers and said I'm dressed like I'm going to Sturgis. What a fool! First I am sober and I don't do rallys. Second I definitely do not stand around in my chaps and jacket talking about riding.
Eight years ago while I sat a red light, a woman in her Cadillac planted me in her windshield doing 40MPH in a 30MPH speed zone. The officer that witnessed her hitting me wouldn't let me get up until the paramedics arrived. The ER released me two hours later after admitting that it was my leathers and helmet that saved me from serious injury.
I do not answer the idiots that ask me why I wear safety gear usually. I dress for my ride and I'm glad when I see others taking care.
You all are in my prayers
    Hoka Hey

i believe it was last week’s episode, rich, where you dropped the air pressure in the trailer tires. did that smooth out the ride on those thumpa-thumpa-thumpa roads? let the good times roll...

wow thanks for the vid you guys I had to hit the like button three times on this one and it was almost like winking at myself. you two are such a kewl couple and almost like your not even bikers. wish I had the nerve to pull a trailer like richard doe's. he handles it well and I'm glad to see richard's alright after that other vid. If I had the energy like when I was younger I'd try that. Keep it up as long as ya can. ty I really like to see people having fun.
