Had a SURPRISE run with him few weeks back not even knowing "who" this guy was that was absolutely RIPPPING the mountain apart. *no spring chicken that has Mysterious Physical abilities and Skill to this day. Mind was blown!
I have a couple Phil Mahre posters and a pair of training skis that were his in my collection...he really was one of the greatest and still skiing to this day!
Modest twin world champions, they were and are so great. They represent skiing, racing, and greatness.
Had a poster of Phil on my wall as a kid. Right next to the Star Wars and Porsche 911 posters. He was Jonny Moseley to skiers in the late 70's 80's.

205 cms with no deep side cuts. That why you see such extreme unweighting and only the last part of the turn being carved.
