Here's another tip, Knowing which match ups you can win(Literally requires you to know the stats, the base damage of skills, etc)
A good example is miya vs hanabi
It's a relatively even match up, but hanabi has better poke with skill 2(Play passively until miya is low and kill-able), while miya has a higher DPS(Play aggressive to kill), this kind of knowledge helps you how you should play, and this doesn't take into account other teammates they have, Which would make your playstyle different again.
This is usually overkill but it helps a lot in soloq, roamers and junglers don't need this kind of information as much as compared to laners.
