Malcolm wouldn't let nobody put words in his mouth. He didn't preach violence. He wanted you to defend yourself if someone wanted to kill you.

Malcolm was one of our brightest lights we will always love him! Mike Wallace's questions were insulting. What's really deeply painful is the fact this man had little to no financial support to even put clothes on his and his family's backs and yet he risked his life for his people anyway!

Malcom's assassination was literally the NAIL IN THE COFFIN for any real Black Liberation Movement and Kings subsequent murder was the final blow. Blacks in the USA have never recovered. And Malcom would be highly disappointed with the state of Black people if he was here to see where we have come and how we have done _nothing_ with the blueprint he left. Black Americans do nothing but "quote" Malcom on Facebook to look edgy/well read but never implement on any political and social level what he told us we needed to do. We don't organize around building and forming partnerships with each other. We organize around crying to the dominant society.

My opinion of this man Hayer or Hagan has mellowed somewhat over the years. Because I realized that during the sixty plus years that I traversed this mortal landscape called life. The diverse modifications that it took for me to become the person that I am today. So it's easier for me to understand this man today than it was twenty or thirty years ago during the intense furor of my youth. Now, I will never forgive his actions because he took away a vital and very essential component in the African-Americans' aspiration for justice and equality, both here and abroad. However, I do have a better understanding of emotional maturity and the cult mentality of us vs. them. That gives me a better insight as to why Hayer 21 or 22 at the time would participate in such a devastatingly heinous act such as that. It's basically the same mindset as those young, impressionable 9/11 suicide hijackers that destroyed the world trade center. And when you throw in the mix, the charlatan message of Allah, who was "betrayed" by the Benedict Arnold Malcolm X, who was supposely given and taught everything that he knew by this religious fakker. Sight unseen without any collaborating facts. Malcolm becomes a pariah, and the situation turns very volatile very quickly.

Hayer mentions someone named Leon coming in with him into the Audubon when he points to the picture Gil Nobel is holding and asked Hayer to show where he was sitting...So one of the other shooters was named Leon? It also seems Hayer mentions the name Mustafa firing with Hayer when the shooting started after the "Get your hand out of my pocket!" diversion began . The shotgun man was identified as William Bradley ...So Talmadge aka Tommy Hayer..."Leon" and "Mustafa" that Hayer apparently mentioned as sitting near him and the supervisor of the hit ,Linwald X Cathart ...

How could the people the community that Malcolm X stood for was so inactive and reckless in providing him with security and devotion? In life we all know that, if you see a source of good for you you must protect and hold it dear. Malcolm X was concerned about black people he died to bring them the good he saw he was like a stream of water but wasn't protected or showed devotion. Are you content with the murky water now?
