What a time to be crunching on snacks :D Finished installing the swing arm set up on my project this evening, great to clarify the torques, keep up the good work.
Thanks. Building a bike is like learning to play a musical instrument. The initial couple years is monotonous rudimentary work, but then one day you make beautiful sounds come out of the instrument and feel the sense of reward. I'm moving into that space now and loving it.
As I recall, yes you can. If you are going to lay the frame down on the engine for reassembly, having the swingarm in place will make it a little heavier and a little bit more cumbersome, but it should go ok with some care. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching. I installed a 120/90-18. OEM was 3.75 H 18-4PR. I think you could safely get away with a 130/90-18 but no larger. That, depending on what mods you make to the frame above the wheel.

Love how nicely it's coming together. It looks (and sounds) great already! :D So excited to see the finished product!

its coming on really good well done , why not use the fender you have as a template and fibre-glass over the top then theirs no rust problems ?
An excellent idea! I've purchased another one off Ebay that is being delivered or I might have gone that route. Thanks for sharing!
Would you know if the gs 500 spoked rims would fit on a 300 gs?
I honestly wouldn't know without taking measurements, sorry. Thanks for watching.
