    Have viewed many different instructors on TH-cam. But have to say, I’ve found you the most helpful. Thank you.

    I think most men may just watch videos from male instructors but I have found a great deal of benefit by watching and listening to you. Your style of instruction is very easy to understand and does not over-complicate anything. Many thanks from the UK.

    Aimee, you have the smoothest, effortless and accurate swing on TH-cam videos that I have seen. I can relate to your style of instruction. I have particularly improved considerably on my chipping and pitching around the greens as well as my mid irons on the fairway.
    Thank you,
    Bill

    An Added Trivia Note:...[Topic: Compression]...[Belly Button] to [Inside Left Heel]!(It's a Diagonal)! Refer to: "Aimee's Video on Irons"
    "Mastering Iron Shot" @ 2:44 - 2:51....To the Point:...No better Tip on ["Hitting & Compression"] for an extra 20 yards. Great job, Aimee.

    Two highlights, in addition to the excellent instruction: 1) @1:51, Yea wide. I thought I was the only one who still said that! 2) @3:10, BOOM! Not only is Aimee an outstanding golf instructor, she makes it so enjoyable to watch and learn.

    2 days i did this drill -- is the lag held through impact and to the finish? i feel like i have to hold the lag (hold the angle between club and left arm) else i fat it or hit the (imaginary) noodle. In this drill, it's start at 8 o'clock w/lag, push-shift into left, body drive arms holding lag and hits ball w/nice compression feel and sound. When i move to a full swing, i find it really hard to hold the lag through impact, end up casting between 8 o'clk -7 o'clk arm position on downswing. I ended up splitting my grip 1" or using a 10 finger grip to stabilize my grip to hold the lag while still keeping my arms relaxed so i can body swing.

    Fighting a “chicken wing” on my irons and losing distance. Do you have a drill to help? TY! Great lessons.

    And if you use a Noodle brand golf ball, the drill works even better :-D

    Tried not shanking but occasionally keep shanking lol. Don’t even know what’s wrong. Felt so helpless

    • @ruatoomey9107
      @ruatoomey9107 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Many things cause shanks, standing too close to ball, playing an open clubface with closed shoulders ( especially with wedges), hitting down too hard on the ball, not releasing the club head, shaft leaning way too forward at impact. These are all related, they promote dragging the hosel through impact before the toe of the club. You need to do the opposite, get the toe of the club turning over just after impact. If you are RH then feel like your r palm is facing down after impact. Imagine you are playing a top spin forehand in tennis. Enjoy golf

    • @zenshengtan1153
      @zenshengtan1153 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the lovely tips. However, definitely I’m not having any problem with standing too far or too close. Hmmm..but I did practice and realize then I actually move my lower body(weight shift) the correct way of course, my shanks getting lesser and lesser. And try to have my hips rotate more to the left
      before impact but I don’t know is it the correct way lol...

    Man I have to try this. This must be the drill for me because this makes me cringe a little. I can’t even imagine hitting that ball with the noodle there.
