First off I just love ur channel. My brother and his wife were in Italy last year. He loved it there and was talking about moving there in a few years after retiring. Your family is beautiful. Ur sister I envy because she found a husband who is very nice and makes her happy. Riccardo's mom is gorgeous and that courtyard is to die for. Lovely warm home full of family history. A fantastic video and I felt like I was truly there. Great job.👏👏 👋👋 from Maryland.
This lady looks young to be Ricardo’s Mum honestly! Beautiful home and thanks for the tour. I really enjoyed it. I lived 15 years in Belgium and traveled to Rome, Sicily, Venice and near Verona on vacation with my Belgian husband. Brings back memories.
Beautiful country and family. Thank you for sharing this with us, it's a privilege to actually see how this beautiful family has lived for so many generations. Great gardening, well organized, the sound of the church music and bells, it's just like being there with you and sharing this family time. I'm so glad I came upon your channel and have subscribed and have told my family about your adventures in Italy and how your parents retired there, that is just wonderful. All the very best to them, you and your family. Blessings and Salute!!
Easy to see that you very much appreciate the pristine beauty and organization of your Sister's Husbands family home. I very much enjoyed viewing everything too. It almost felt like I was there. Thank You and your Lovely Family. 😊
Ben, what would be helpful in future videos is when you have someone giving you a tour, you actually keep up with them, not go in the opposite direction. Your sister was often in another room giving info that we missed. A better outcome would have been either you ask her to slow down while you film or you stay on pace with the tour guide. What we saw, It appeared to be a lovely family home, thanks.
Thank you for sharing! We love that part of the Salento and it brings back wonderful memories! You are a beautiful family and how nice your kids get to experience along with you!
I did my first couple of months of military service in Lecce, beautiful baroque city. 30:16 I think your brother-in-law's mother said that the house was 400 square metres, which corresponds to 4300 square feet. 30:55 Funny when Riccardo said to his mum 'stai calma' (calm down) when she got a bit too excited about the lemons 😄
What a beautiful home that is full of beautiful memories. The courtyard is simply amazing as well as the home. So much family history linking the past, and present that will help determine the future. Thank you to Richardo and his Mom for sharing. Looking forward to see what he makes with that 5 year old starter. Such a humble man. Your sister found a gem for sure!
hi Ben, totally love your videos featuring your parents relocation to Italy. My wife and i are retired nurses and frequently encourage the thought of moving to Italy but not sure where to start , i’ll be emailing you for some personal info . thx. Peter

Beautiful house reminded me of my dad’s aunts homes in Mexico (Coahuila). Ricardo’s mom really sweet😊
