Moc dekuji za pochvalu Andreo. Ani jsem necekal, ze se to bude tak libit. Natocim zase dalsi. Asi nejakou jizdu po Funchalu ve vsech kopcich, co bezne nikdo neukazuje.....
I personally love this new video format especially when I can get an overview of Madeira's hilly landscapes and village scenes in a short time. I also understand that you wanted to gauge the reaction of your viewers before investing more time in this new video format. As you have asked for feedback, I hope you don't mind me making a few personal observations. It may be worthwhile to put up a map at the start, outlining your driving route so that vewers can have some context of distance and geography of the island. Also, a lot of travellers nowadays want to have a more indepth understanding of the places they visit in terms of history, culture, and anecdotal trivia, so maybe in future you can include either a verbal or popup notes as you drive along. For example, fun facts about how the tunnels were bulit into the mountains and how much time it saves from driving from Funchal to Sao Vincent in the North. I know it will take a lot of time to research and edit but I do believe it can add a lot of interest for some new viewers.
Good evening, thank you for the excellent feedback. What you write about is very demanding and I would like to provide such information, but the videos would have to have a larger audience or a larger membership base. It is not possible for me to show 4 quality videos in a month with this viewership, so as the channel grows I will add such information. 👍
@@Roman.Skoupil-DiscoveringI agree. It will take a lot of effort and time to include those suggestions for sure! However, if I am not mistaken, a majority of your viewers are people who have never visited Madeira and any facts or other simple trivia, even though ordinary to a local like yourself, will be of interest to them. Some may tune in once but will lose interest and won't return to your channel but if they find Madeira intriguing and fascinating( not just visually but with a better historical and background context), they may subscribe and be long term followers. I love Madeira and I watch your videos because your videos are excellent but also because we understand a little of the history, culture and the proud people of Madeira. Whatever you decide, keep doing what you are doing because we always enjoy your vlogs no matter what the format is!!!
@@Roman.Skoupil-DiscoveringRoman, I promise I will not bother you anymore with suggestions but I just thought of something that may be of interest to your audience and yes, it will involve a little research. On our first trip to Funchal many years ago, we learned a little about the levadas on the island including interesting facts about how Madeirans have so ingeniously carved out these water channels over many years. They also excavated a reservoir inside the mountain to store excess water. We also found it fascinating that they actually generate electricity by letting the reservoir water drop down into the turbines at the bottom of the mountain side during the day to generate electricity for higher daytime consumption. During the early morning hours, when consumption is low, they pump the water back up to the reservoir to repeat a very sustainable and cheap power supply. One of many reasons why we love Madeira. I hope this will also help in your quest to increase your viewership by doing a levada walk but with a little historical lesson thrown in! CHEERS and I will leave you in peace! 😊
Hi, at the beginning of the video it said where I start. I didn't name the other villages because it's very time consuming. If people are interested in the videos and there will be support or the viewership will increase, then I will be happy to add more information. Thanks for wathing ♥️
