    Everything sounds pretty awesome so far Glen! I also just realized that the full name of the cabinet sounds like a new type of martial art... "BAC-FU". I say you run with that theme and do a mash-up logo showing some martial arts weapon... like nunchucks, but using joysticks or something along those lines. lol

    The benefit of this is literally making it your own. You have an exceptional base model that is functional. Everything else is personal taste aesthetics and add-ons. You can add-on as you have the money and interest.

    This looks awesome Glen! I've had a Rec Room Masters Tankstick cabinet for years now but was never entirely happy with it. I might end up replacing it with the FU, especially with the swappable control decks.

    Im sold, when this launches i’ll be getting one. First part of last year i was waiting for the ALU 4k but then they still haven’t launched it, i see more value in this then that. Im pretty much done buying any A1ups. I have 6 cabs left and done see me buying any more. Not selling the A1ups i have as buystuff and team encoder has saved me from selling those. They are nice toys to have. Have no interest in Iconic arcades bigger 1ups , unless they make a Hydrothunder or Star Wars Arcade. But with how yours is able to be set up to make the arcade how we want it, perhaps i can make my own Star Wars Arcade? Will that play on your venom? Or will i need my PC to do that?

    • @GlensRetroShow
      @GlensRetroShow  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@etharp1980 The Viper venom is more than powerful enough to run it? We have to just make sure the emulator is ported but remember you can also connect anything like a full PC in the unit and you definitely would get that working. No issues but of course don't make sure we have the emulator ported. It's definitely I know a game people would want to play

    @gregwalzel7504 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Hey Glen! Greg here. Have another question: I understand the 26 inch will rotate manually. However, was wondering what the limitations are for it to run electronically. Is it the width of cabinet or the mechanism itself? Can you add something to the wood circle mechanism where the screen is out a little so it can electronically rotate freely? Just throwing it out there. Sorry you had to go through that with Arcade1up. It's great you're doing your own machine!

    • @GlensRetroShow
      @GlensRetroShow  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@gregwalzel7504 the width won't allow for electric 💡⚡ powered rotation . A big part of BAC FU is turning it into a glentendo cabinet. So true scale ⚖️ of the unit would be far off to compensate for 26" electric rotation
      And thank you .. I really appreciate that :)

    Hello Mr. Glen! I recently purchased the GRS yoke over the Alan-1. It was best for my cabinet mod and seems most others choose your unit over the Alan-1 as well.
    Was hoping you could lead me to answers on mapping the controller? I'm using the usb connection with the Android box S905x running Emuelec. I've mapped it but when it comes time to press "coin," I get no farther. I also saw where supposedly controls are more accurate using a Rasberry Pi or a PC. Can this controller be just as accurate using the Android box? (I just subbed so i really hope you'll respond to my inquiry.)

    • @GlensRetroShow
      @GlensRetroShow  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@tooshort4892 I'm really sorry on this one. I'm not going to be too much help helping you map it inside your Android gaming box. It's probably going to be experimenting with trial and error, but since GRS door was flot yoke is basically seen as a USB analog joystick. As long as the box can handle it, you should be able to map it just fine

      @@GlensRetroShow Well thanks for replying. Surprisingly after several days of frustration I figured it out. Although I finally had success, gameplay is not as smooth and responsive as I've seen this unit advertised and perform on other systems. Guess it's not truly "plug and play" depending on system. (I accept your apology but still a nice unit.)👾😉

    Is it really a 4:3 ratio 19" monitor. All 19" monitors and LCD panels I have seen are 5:4 ratio, although some sites will say their 19" screens are 4:3, they are actually 5:4. Even Buy Stuff Arcades with their 19" monitor upgrade for A1UP is actually 5:4 and they cover the bottom part so it displays 4:3, which in turn makes it about 18.5". So is this a new LCD 19" Panel from BOE specifically for your build?
