I can’t believe anyone would actually ask about Lauren loving one child more than the other. Hopefully, they stop that. All kids are loved the same and even making a kid think contrary to that is so toxic. Lauren and Arie are so sweet to their children, I love this video.

Lauren and Arie - you guys are the best: raising twins in the newborn phase is not easy but you guys are such great parents. I truly adore your attitude especially how you work as a loving team. @@carver877 Arie doesn't have to account to you for anything, he pays taxes just like you, probably more than you. He didn't prevent you or anyone you know from getting one of those loans, there probably wasn't enough funding released at first and he would not have been aware of that. Even if the loan was not used that money probably would have been returned and probably allocated to another funding, such as that which was sent to the states and local governments to help with housing, the education systems, food programs, transportation, etc. And if he has to pay it back he has means to do so, That's what's wrong with the world today, Everybody in everybody else's business. Stop indulging yourself in other people's business. So rude!
@@carver877 My heart goes out to everybody who became homeless during the pandemic, unfortunately some businesses had to close at the onset of the pandemic before ppl loans were approved in the stimulus package, and distributed. My hope is that everyone can be restored back into housing and employment through funding that has been approved.

I love what Lauren said about life being a series of phases. This is so true. When I had my baby earlier this year I really mourned my kid free freedom and still do at times. But now I wouldn't go back.
Lauren and Arie have a lot of wisdom. I love how they talked about phases. It wasn’t how they missed going here or there when they wanted, Lauren mentioned different phases and contentment. Very wise woman and Arie is as well.
I like how chill you guys seem to be about parenting. Not like you’re hands-off, but you seem to not sweat the small things, which is so great! Three kids under three is insane (my grandparents did it, they had an 18 month old and newborn identical twins 😬) and I feel like you have to be chill about the little things or you’ll lose your mind!

I think the secret to recovering quickly is having such a great support system! Arie seems to be really involved and you guys have family around to help. A lot of women don’t have so much support or help which means they end up having to do a lot of the work themselves.
You guys are killing it at the twin parenting game 👏 Mom to 10 month old twin boys here and the newborn phase goes by soooo fast. Even though its a blur right now soak in every moment! The most important is the support you have for your spouse and that love for your kids ❤
Triplet mama here; identical twin boys and a girl! They are eight now and I'm loving your videos as they bring back those memories from when mine were little babies. Do the things! Go on the trips! Integrate them into your life. You won't regret it. I'm so happy you're all going to Hawaii! I would LOVE to see a video showing your vehicle setup, carseats, strollers, etc. We had the valcobaby Zee Two with the joey seat attachment to stroll all three around. People were always so interested in our cool stroller! I'm a runner, and also had the Valco Tri Mode Duo X with joey seat attachment for running on the trails! We got the Diono carseats so we could fit them three across in any vehicle if needed.
Dear Arie and Lauren, Thank you for being so open, as a twin parent myself, I am highly entertained by your videos and insta pages. There is a feeling of community with you guys, as I feel I can sympathize you.. Mine are around 1 year older than yours, and man, those first weeks and months! But it does get easier, I promise! For us at around 4 months they slept through, and that is important to another dimension with twins, so it‘s good that you pacify, it helps! Also how do you both look so fresh like straight out of a spa and your house is spotless?? I’m in awe!!
So glad that Lauren is feeling much better. My grandmother use to say, the sacrifice of no sleep, not eating on time etc etc is only for a time, in the twinkle of an eye they will all be grown up.
Knowing how you guys started and seeing you guys now, I get a little teary eyed! I’m a twin mom with a older toddler. A life saver is to get Alessi a bubble machine and make her a big girl box filled with a lot of fun toys she only gets to play with when you feed the babies.
I need to know why this channel doesn’t have at least 1M subscribers! Sometimes TH-cam pushes out the videos they should, but sometimes they don’t. This is an example of where they don’t do enough! There are SO many people that love to watch family channels, and some of them are kind of boring, repetitive, and lacking of diverse content. Not this channel!!! There is such a huge market for a channel as wonderful as this, and lots of people obviously just don’t know about it, or they’d subscribe after watching their first vlog. These people are adorable, adventurous, funny, and entertaining. They are SO DOWN to EARTH, honest, real, and relatable. My twin girls are now in their mid 20s. I had a 6 year old and a 4 year old when my twins were born. Enjoy this time with your three children, because they grow up so fast. Twins are so precious. The five of you are lucky indeed.

I had one of those terrible one vaginal/one Caesarean deliveries with my twin boys. The first delivery went fine, but Twin B's cord prolapsed and I had to have an emergency "crash" Caesarean for him. So, I had to be put to sleep not knowing if he would make it or not. I literally woke up in recovery asking if he was alive. So scary. They weighed 8-10 and 8-0 at 37 weeks! Big boys. Congrats on your beautiful babies(all 3 of them!)💜💙💜
You all are doing great!! Not the same thing, but we had 3 babies in 3 years, and yes it was WILD! Ten years later now it’s so fun, all going swimming together or playing games ... I don’t know I’m just saying it’ll get easier and not be survival mode anymore!!!

I have an identical twin and we are soooo close. We did 23andme a couple of years ago and it showed 100% identical. I cannot imagine doing life without her.
@@Piscoandmartinis We are now 69 years of age and still look alike. Even though twins look alike, there are still some differences. I have a dimple and my twin does not. I’m a half inch taller than she is. The DNA just confirmed for us that we are identical.

The first year with twins is hard but it gets so much better. My daughter has boy/girl twins that’s are 3 now. They have a sister that’s 22 months older than them so it’s been wild. But it’s so fun now. Hang in there and tell people unless they’ve had twins they have no idea!!!

My twin was miscarried in the third month. My teenaged mother thought “I’ll never have to tell anyone this ever happened” …six months later her water broke while she was jumping off of her porch. Surprise! I was adopted by a wonderful family and I met her when I was 21. I’ve always known I was a twin and it was the first thing I asked her.
Telling your story is always a blessing to somebody else I’ve lost two infants but I have two other kids thank the Lord but when I don’t have a relationship with you never get over the wash you always wonder what if
I have been married for 13 years, 4 children and we talk about our kids a lot on dates. Trust me, once your kids aren't toddlers and newborns, but big kids with real life stuff going on, you will need that time to also process and talk to each other about what is going on in your kids' life. Kids growing up and becoming teenagers is a whole different ballgame!

As a mom to adopted twins, boy and girl, they are so everything! Mine are 9 years old and though the girl is small and petite, she is very competitive and will try to get her brother in trouble all the time. Then she joins up with him and gets in trouble, too. Never, ever a dull moment, and so much fun!

@@lolli39873 do you mean in which country? Because “world” does not make sense, since the US school system is not the world’s school system. The school system in Germany allows children to start with kindergarten from age 3. I forgot that in US children start kindergarten much later 😊

RELATABLE!! First, hats off to you both for being such a great team. So much of singleton + twins is trial and error to see what works best. People used to tell me that the milestones of 18 months and 3 years were game changers and I’m so close to the first one. One day your babies will feed themselves, sleep through the night, and play and laugh together. You just got to hold on and know that it gets easier. I think it was 7 months that I did Taking Cara Babies and it was amazing. I wish I would have purchased her program earlier for my twins. Highly recommend her. Thank you for being so real about your experience, it’s appreciated!!

Hi! fellow twin mom here :) mine are 6.5 now and in 1st grade! You are very smart to try and keep them on the same schedule. It may seem hard sometimes but the consistency will pay off. We did the 3 hour feeding schedule until 5 months I think and then every four hours? Don't let anyone guilt trip you. Having multiples is tough! God bless yall :)

Oh man, i’m two weeks into recovery from a c-section and I can honestly say it’s the worse for me! The pain! Especially to nurse! Im happy your recovery was fast. Your babies are precious. Sending love from LA 💕
My twins, who are now 13, were born at 25 weeks. They were 1lb 6oz and 1lb 11oz. It was the hardest thing we ever did-feeding tubes, oxygen tanks, apnea monitors etc. after our 7 month stint in the nicu of course. Everyone has their own path-just try and enjoy every minute of it bc it is so short lived-the baby years! It got easier for me around age 5. Best of luck and keep strong-you guys are amazing together!!
Seeing things as phases through life is best way. Some think their lives are over after kids. Its not and people shouldn't lose themselves completely in their kids coz they'll be off creating their own lives after 18 years!
I hate to break it to you guys, but twins as babies are the easiest I found. My twin girls are 25 now and their still pretty needy. Although one is a nurse and one is a civil engineer and they own their own houses they still depend on their mom and dad, mainly dad, which we wouldn’t have it any other way! I did have my girls on a tight schedule but my girlfriend had boy/girl twins and you really need to feed the boy more because of their appetite. I had another daughter that was 3 at the time so it was pretty busy. We started traveling with all 3 when they were babies so you will get a travel plan that will work for you guys. Good luck guys!!

Omg lol. My son was a grunter too. He is so precious. Lauren, I had mastitis with my second child and it was horrible. They told me to keep nursing while on the antibiotic but the pain from my breast was so horrible I said absolutely not. It gave me a fever, chills and my breast which was the right breast with it, felt like it was on fire and throbbed nonstop for 3 days until the medicine started working. My husband felt helpless and so bad for me because I was beyond miserable. I hear you, I would give birth 10 times before having that again. I’m so happy you got through it. I know your pain.
CONGRATULATIONS. I had same age difference but boy 1st. 6 mo it gets better. My Scott screamed from 11-6 x 6wks. I nursed them for 9 mo. My ex worked 11-7 w 1 hr drive each way. My twins are now 35 and Dave is 37!! Enjoy !

My twin girls are now in their mid 20s. I had a 6 year old and a 4 year old when my twins were born. Enjoy this time with your three children, because they grow up so fast. Twins are so precious. The five of you are lucky indeed.

I had one of those terrible one vaginal/one Caesarean deliveries with my twin boys. The first delivery went fine, but Twin B's cord prolapsed and I had to have an emergency "crash" Caesarean for him. So, I had to be put to sleep not knowing if he would make it or not. I literally woke up in recovery asking if he was alive. So scary. They weighed 8-10 and 8-0 at 37 weeks! Big boys. Congrats on your beautiful babies(all 3 of them!)💜💙💜

You all are doing great!! Not the same thing, but we had 3 babies in 3 years, and yes it was WILD! Ten years later now it’s so fun, all going swimming together or playing games ... I don’t know I’m just saying it’ll get easier and not be survival mode anymore!!!

I have an identical twin and we are soooo close. We did 23andme a couple of years ago and it showed 100% identical. I cannot imagine doing life without her.

@@Piscoandmartinis We are now 69 years of age and still look alike. Even though twins look alike, there are still some differences. I have a dimple and my twin does not. I’m a half inch taller than she is. The DNA just confirmed for us that we are identical.

The first year with twins is hard but it gets so much better. My daughter has boy/girl twins that’s are 3 now. They have a sister that’s 22 months older than them so it’s been wild. But it’s so fun now. Hang in there and tell people unless they’ve had twins they have no idea!!!

My twin was miscarried in the third month. My teenaged mother thought “I’ll never have to tell anyone this ever happened” …six months later her water broke while she was jumping off of her porch. Surprise! I was adopted by a wonderful family and I met her when I was 21. I’ve always known I was a twin and it was the first thing I asked her.
Telling your story is always a blessing to somebody else I’ve lost two infants but I have two other kids thank the Lord but when I don’t have a relationship with you never get over the wash you always wonder what if

I have been married for 13 years, 4 children and we talk about our kids a lot on dates. Trust me, once your kids aren't toddlers and newborns, but big kids with real life stuff going on, you will need that time to also process and talk to each other about what is going on in your kids' life. Kids growing up and becoming teenagers is a whole different ballgame!
Honestly, I want to find someone at whom I will look with so much love after kids and years together as they look at one another :) beautiful

As a mom to adopted twins, boy and girl, they are so everything! Mine are 9 years old and though the girl is small and petite, she is very competitive and will try to get her brother in trouble all the time. Then she joins up with him and gets in trouble, too. Never, ever a dull moment, and so much fun!
You both are so funny. Even though you are both so tired, you both have such a sense of humor. I have missed you two but I knew you were busy busy. Thank you for giving time to the public instead of resting, which you both need..Love you both.❤️❤️ you are both wonderful parents.

@@lolli39873 do you mean in which country? Because “world” does not make sense, since the US school system is not the world’s school system. The school system in Germany allows children to start with kindergarten from age 3. I forgot that in US children start kindergarten much later 😊

RELATABLE!! First, hats off to you both for being such a great team. So much of singleton + twins is trial and error to see what works best. People used to tell me that the milestones of 18 months and 3 years were game changers and I’m so close to the first one. One day your babies will feed themselves, sleep through the night, and play and laugh together. You just got to hold on and know that it gets easier. I think it was 7 months that I did Taking Cara Babies and it was amazing. I wish I would have purchased her program earlier for my twins. Highly recommend her. Thank you for being so real about your experience, it’s appreciated!!

Hi! fellow twin mom here :) mine are 6.5 now and in 1st grade! You are very smart to try and keep them on the same schedule. It may seem hard sometimes but the consistency will pay off. We did the 3 hour feeding schedule until 5 months I think and then every four hours? Don't let anyone guilt trip you. Having multiples is tough! God bless yall :)

Oh man, i’m two weeks into recovery from a c-section and I can honestly say it’s the worse for me! The pain! Especially to nurse! Im happy your recovery was fast. Your babies are precious. Sending love from LA 💕
My twins, who are now 13, were born at 25 weeks. They were 1lb 6oz and 1lb 11oz. It was the hardest thing we ever did-feeding tubes, oxygen tanks, apnea monitors etc. after our 7 month stint in the nicu of course. Everyone has their own path-just try and enjoy every minute of it bc it is so short lived-the baby years! It got easier for me around age 5. Best of luck and keep strong-you guys are amazing together!!
I am 2 yrs older than my twin brothers, which today is their birthday! Mom and Dad had a time with us, it was hard but they got us raised!

Seeing things as phases through life is best way. Some think their lives are over after kids. Its not and people shouldn't lose themselves completely in their kids coz they'll be off creating their own lives after 18 years!
I hate to break it to you guys, but twins as babies are the easiest I found. My twin girls are 25 now and their still pretty needy. Although one is a nurse and one is a civil engineer and they own their own houses they still depend on their mom and dad, mainly dad, which we wouldn’t have it any other way! I did have my girls on a tight schedule but my girlfriend had boy/girl twins and you really need to feed the boy more because of their appetite. I had another daughter that was 3 at the time so it was pretty busy. We started traveling with all 3 when they were babies so you will get a travel plan that will work for you guys. Good luck guys!!

Omg lol. My son was a grunter too. He is so precious. Lauren, I had mastitis with my second child and it was horrible. They told me to keep nursing while on the antibiotic but the pain from my breast was so horrible I said absolutely not. It gave me a fever, chills and my breast which was the right breast with it, felt like it was on fire and throbbed nonstop for 3 days until the medicine started working. My husband felt helpless and so bad for me because I was beyond miserable. I hear you, I would give birth 10 times before having that again. I’m so happy you got through it. I know your pain.
CONGRATULATIONS. I had same age difference but boy 1st. 6 mo it gets better. My Scott screamed from 11-6 x 6wks. I nursed them for 9 mo. My ex worked 11-7 w 1 hr drive each way. My twins are now 35 and Dave is 37!! Enjoy !
