This will forever be one of my favorite Seonghwa fancams and performances ever. This stage really showcased his acting skills. Look at how he sets the tone at the beginning: how he swivels his arm from the back to give us a creepy illusion of unnatural body movement, the unsettling crazed movements and robotic ticks he does while rising up and looking around, the way he's crouched and staggering unstably, the way he was flinging his limbs like a puppet/doll, and the way he's looking around like he's deranged and possessed.. Like he's a malevolent entity in a hollow shell of what once was a human body, disturbed from his slumber and summoned to wreak havoc and bring forth chaos once again. You see how he fully immerses himself in his roles, adding little details to add layers to his characters, even down to the smallest and subtlest nuances in the atmospheric tone he sets, the vibe he gives off, the look in his eyes, his facial expressions, the way he stands or walks, and even the way he moves his fingers. We believe whatever role he's playing, because he adds certain behavioral / body language pattens, textural and emotional layers, and mannerisms that are specific to that role's "personality" and identity as he is performing, and he becomes it. He embodies whatever persona he is playing as, so much so that he seems to turn into a different person every time he performs a different song. Seonghwa is a true performer, an actor and an artist.
He's one of the best performers I've ever seen, could be top 1 in my list with this stage and appearance. Seonghwa's stage presence is somehow still underrated.
He's amazing at performing. He's especially talented at creepy/intense concepts. It would be so cool to see him in a thriller/horror kdrama as either the villain or someone along those lines
