I've said this once and I'll say it again. Seonghwa is a performance genius, not only bc of his fantastic dancing and singing but bc of his storytelling too, he's literally going through the stages of grief right before our eyes with this performance. You can see the "loss" occur at the beginning of the song, especially with this move 0:22 then during Hongjoong's rap he goes into the denial/shock phase. At 0:26 you can see the numb shock at whatever just happened, and seems to go into a battle with himself during the chorus, denying his grief but at the same time feeling it with every move he makes. 1:17 here's he's entering the anger stage, venting his emotions through his aggressive dancing and intense facial expressions. You can see that during the second chorus 2:34 is the bargaining/regret phase, when people ask themselves "what did I do wrong?" "what if i did this differently?" He seems to be asking himself these questions, desperately looking for an answer, while transitioning his anger to be directed at himself. Then the crushing sadness takes him over at 3:03 as the depression stage cripples him. And finally, after taking us on a rollercoaster of emotions, he shuts the door on his grief at 3:28 at the end of the song. THIS MAN IS A GENIUS!
