I have a ton of palettes, like over 100 and I found that I was using the same things so i started the 'palette project' last fall and love it... I write the name of every palette I own on a slip of paper (and I add in any new ones as I get them) and I put them in a bag. Every time I need to put on makeup, I choose one randomly from the bag and I have to use that one. I have a couple rules.. if it's a palette thas has things other than e/s, like bronzer,, highlight or blush or even lip colors, then I have to use the whole thing and because I like eye toppers, my rule is that I can use an eye topper only if I have a topper in the same color as a color in the palette. I've had so much fun rediscovering older palettes and it's helping me see which ones I can declutter.
I started project pan but really my main issue is palettes! Good idea!

I’ve done this as well: I currently own around 80 palettes and I’m almost done with this project. I also added in a note for single eyeshadows, pigments, and a my choice one.
You are one of the "core" channels that I prioritize, because I can sit back and relax to any of your videos :) This was great- I spent the whole video wondering what the large mirror and the base it's sitting on are, and where to get them! I have an area I'm in desperate need to set up, but haven't a clue where to look for items such as these. Love seeing you use all these products before I try too...

I’ve started using a different lipstick everyday so that I actually use them! I always grabbed the same few and had a drawer compartment full of lipsticks I like but never use. I often don’t do eyes so it’s easy to go bold with lips 😁
That's what I have been doing but with all my lip products like glosses and liners as well. My eyeshadow im switching out the palettes everyday.

I have found that the maybelline snapscara is a total dupe for the thrive causemetics lash extensions, its sold at ulta but I get it the dollar store for 5 bucks! The wand is different but I feel like the formula is the same idk it's worth a try

Does it apply like a tubing mascara or does it only give a similar effect as the Thrive without tubing? I’m might have to try it!
I find myself excited for a product when you say "I might bring this over". It's like its been called up from the farm system to the big leagues. You go Kosas lip balm, show us what you're made of.

Jessica you need to try the new mac glow play blushes!! They are bouncy like the bare minerals one. Also number 7 has a tubing mascara for $8 or so! 👍🏼❤️

🤩🤩🤩🤩 I finally got ahold of the Thrive Causemetics Mascara and........ I'm trying to hold back from tossing out all my mascaras.
I did not have one spec of mascara under my eyes at the end of the day (practically unheard of for me) and yet it came right off with a cloth and warm water. I'm floored. I'm amazed. I think I'm in love.
I agree that the new Wet n Wild foundation is AMAZING! I am blown away every time I wear it.

When u got to the highlighters part, I remembered a makeup artist, who once suggested that we can trim and mix any powdery highlighters with our body cream, in order to get more glowy during summertime! What a great idea for hls to value their money, right😊💗

If anyone wants the bare minerals bounce and blur blushes they are showing up at TJ and marshals rite now for 7.99. I got another one from there and I'm loving it in on the hunt for the buff shade now 7.99 beats 29$ in ULTA for it😘
I absolutely looooove the No7 pressed powder. I’m 44 and have dry skin, so I use powder very sparingly. For me, it sets my concealer better than anything I’ve ever used, including Laura Mercier.
I appreciate that you use neutral, realistic eyeshadows. I am 38 and the older I get, the prettier more natural looks are to me. You look like a princess here. So pretty!

I would also like to add that your style is very much like my own so I think that's where I connect to you as well. Make up, fashion, your outlook on healthy eating and exercise (we try our best but still live), everything about you is just so much my style and way of thinking etc. So after those long winded comments, thank you for being you!

I've never had any issues with the Vichy mineral 89 pilling.... maybe it's something you combine it with? 🤷♀️ it's one of my first steps and I apply a more occlusive moisturizer over it
I apply the vichy first, then moisturizer, and never had any problems with it! I think it just needs a bit of waiting time so it can properly sink in into the skin

Sometimes something just works differently for different people. I had heard so many great things about The Ordinary’s Niacinamide serum but on me it always pills no matter what I do.

The glitter highlight from the too faced is great on the eyelid with just a wing; balances out a bold lip really well.
Dying to know thoughts on too faced eye palette. Looks right up my street. I’ve really been resisting ct pillow talk palette vs the other one. I’m slightly warmer toned I think than yourself (still a pale girl) and green eyes.... dunno I’m still on the hunt for my perfect neutral palette. Great vid Jess. Thanks x

Hi, I have the vichy serum and had the same problem. Try using it on wet skin (some kind of hydrating mist), press it in and use only one pump and it should not pill :)
- hyaluronic acid shoud actually be always used on wet skin as it binds moisture :)

I love the No. 7 concealer and powder! I bought them a month or 2 ago when they were on sale at my target. You mentioned the powder could be a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury powder. Since I can't afford that, I got the No. 7 instead. I love it. I think you'll like the concealer too.
It's so funny I just watched Allie Glines video about what she made us the viewers buy... watching this video and the last one I just watched I'm like "yeah, Jessica made me buy that, oh that one too, yup that's right there on my shelf, Jessica, stop it! Oh my gosh, I have that too!" So, if you decide to do a video like that I have pretty much a full face alone! Haha, thanks for your amazing recommendations. Also, you just gave me an idea about how I can organize my make up. I am always learning something.
I'm an "older" subscriber and the No. 7 powder did not work for me. It ended up looking cakey and didn't blend in well. The Flower Beauty Light Illusion powder has become my holy grail powder! And, it comes in a light enough shade for my pale skin❤
I decluttered my makeup at the same time you started reducing the size of your makeup collection. I now only keep my holy grail products, and if I want to try something new, I wait until I'm out of what I'm using. I have saved SO MUCH MONEY!!!😊
FYI, if you’re using the Vichy Mineral 89 under makeup that has silicones/dimethicone in them, that’s why. I always use it under my foundation and never had it pill up on me.

I just started using the thrive mascara and I freaking love it. I've lost so many eyelashes along the years because mascara is a pain in the butt to remove. This is a game changer.

I never really enjoyed the loreal singles. I could never get them to work and it was weird. I thought it was just me... everyone raved about it so I tried to make it work but I never enjoyed my enjoyed my eye make up when I used it
Really like your top. That color suits your complexion.
Use Inglot duraline for those single dried out shadows.

LaMer and Wet N Wild foundation, doesn't get much more high end & drugstore than that. I love it!!!
I use the Vichy as well, it's one pump alone of with a pea sized other moisturizer and it works great under my makeup, but everyone is different. Love your vanity.

Jess! I got that same L'Oreal shadow, only in a purple/taupe shade and it did the same thing! I was so bummed because it was amazing when I first bought it. RIP L'Oreal shadow⚰️
