Cleaned up, rev2.. First attempt at "loop based" sequencing using MAGIX Samplitude X4. Composed from clips used as backgrounds in my other videos. Cheers
@@fontaholic I had 3 Amigas and loved them. Got into early Midi back then too. Very exciting time for technology, the late 80s and 90s. For a straight up recording studio app (without all the electronic music FL-studio innovations) Samplitude is a solid app, and quite amazing. Does everything I need.
Hi Esteban, yeah I had a bunch of audio clips I was using as backgrounds in other videos. I just started stacking them in a VIP, dragging them out longer (repeats), or pitch changing them where needed. The auto beat matching feature kept all the clips playing in tempo. I'm an absolute beginner but I have to say this came together easily and with a nice build toward the end. The mixing/automation stuff was real fun too.
Its immensely powerful but has a learning curve. I just started a MS Word doc and kept notes on everything I learned. After a while the rest just clicked. At that point you're on jet fuel :-) Good luck.
Love it
Thank you... good fun/experimentation there.
The creator of samplitude did the first one on the amiga 1992. I had it too end of the 90s and different amigas and a tocata card later.

Cool! Lots of automation going on. Do you just use the mouse to program it straight on the vip?

Don deCourcelle well done! I'll be trying the demo of Samplitude for the next month to see if I click with it.
