Gohan being 11 at the end of this particular saga is a dub-ism, and it's an error. He's 9 years old chronologically, but biologically he's around 10. The source material doesn't account for the years spent in [SPOILER] the Room of Spirit and Time (in which he doesn't even spend a full year anyway).

Yeah Krillin is considered a main character where as Yamcha is a supporting one. Especially since Krillin was one of the two main protagonists alongside Gohan for most of the Namekian/Freeza arc.
That and Yamcha is treated horribly in the Manga and anime. TFS, specifically Kaiser said that they felt bad about continuing the maltreatment of Yamcha and started changing that about season 3. Especially with Cell being nice to him.

Judging by facial expressions, there seemed to be a bit of confusion with Goku wondering if the Androids dreamed of "Electric Sheep." That is a direct reference to the novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" by Philip K. Dick. It's the book that the movie "Bladerunner" was based on. It is also one of the rare cases where the adaptation was FAR better than the original book.
So, remember that dude in the car at 6:05? In the original manga, it's way more brutal. The old guy actually picks him up by the neck, through the car's roof, and squeezes so hard that he pops the poor sap's head off. Pretty much everything is shown.
Actually: Teen Piccollo vs. Teen Goku back then was 12/10 if you ask me. Seriously, great animation and one of the most exhausting fights in DB history.

In Goku's defense, the Senzu beans can easily be destroyed especially by villains that know about them. One example is Salza from Cooler's Armored Squad who blasted them. It takes months to fully grow Senzu beans and Salza destroyed all that hard work in less than a second. It can be pretty risky to carry a full bag on you.

The general translation decided to go with 'Android'...but as you've seen and will see, and as many jokes are made of, most of the 'Androids' aren't actually ANDROIDS. Dr. Gero, nee Android 20/ "Jinzōningen Niju-Gō" ("Artifical Person No 20") is by definition of these things a cyborg: he's an organic brain placed in a robot body, whereas Android 19/"Jinzōningen Jū Kyū-Gō" IS a purely mechanical being.The ones you saw in the History of Trunks special are a third type that I won't explain now due to mild spoilers, but they technically aren't androids EITHER.
Despite Goku's heart condition, his SSJ transformation in this episode remains my favorite of all his SSJ transformations to date (just counting SSJ1 transformations).

Since not all work loads are equal, the time estimations can fluxuate wildly from like 50 years down to 2 seconds and then settles for something like 11 minutes and then slowly drops down to 3 minutes and the final accurate estimation being something like 1 minute 30 seconds. Another possibility is looking at file sizes, or file counts and each gives different kind of loading bar behaviours. More complex loading bars utilize mix of all of these.
I would give the OG fight between Goku and Tien in a 8.5 easily. Tien introduced a lot of cool techiniques and some that are still used today like Ki Flying and the Solar Flare. And at the time he only didn't kill Goku because he warned that the tri beam would vaporize him.
Krillin bullying Yamcha about losing to the Androids the whole time and being Yamcha’d was hilarious. I love that they brought back the psychic alien joke love it every time. The Androids were really enjoyable in this Android 19s error cracked me up

However, the 2nd time he used a sensu was after being beaten half-dead by King Piccolo. And he totally needed a sensu to heal the chesthole Piccolo Jr. gave him at the end of their fight.
So the deal with the disclaimer at the beginning, the running joke was whoever reads it in the beginning, something bad happens to them, usually death.
That bit where Android 20 attacks that guy in the car was like way worse in the manga. It actually shows him crushing his neck to the point his head snaps off
20 is also an Android. The only part of him that’s “human” is his Brain. The vessel is a Machine to look Human, hence he’s an Android. 17 & 18 are Cyborgs since they are Augmented Humans.
Sidenote- the error reports (IF the come with enough information, whether manually entered or from the software itself) do get added to the "needs fixing pile" in most software companies. Whether or not they get fixed, or if it comes in a patch or the next version or doesn't, often depends on the company culture and the amount of reports with the same error that come in.

Another useful thing... Akira Toriyama, creator and writer of Dragon Ball, is an incredibly creative man, but he does have certain weaknesses as a writer. The last season of TFS's Abridged will subtly show these factors off, but I won't specify just what I mean until later. Related, there's a persistent rumor that Akira actually wanted to end the manga at the finale of the Freiza Saga, but it was so popular that he was encouraged/semi forced to continue doing so, and hence he started mucking with things to try and get its popularity to drop. The first was breaking up the long established pairing of Bulma and Yamcha (who had been on and off more or less since the start of the manga, and unlike in the Abridged series, didn't break up for good until the time skip between Goku's return and the Androids arriving) and putting her with Vegeta, who was still one step away from being the group's mortal enemy, to the point where they had a kid. He thought readers would reject it, instead the pairing was actually EMBRACED, so his 'attempt' 'backfired'. However, this is just a story: it's been debunked as false, more or less. But it's something to keep in mind over events that are to come.
15:56 Ages are interesting in dragon ball. At this point in the story Gohan is 10 in the anime and 9 in the manga. Piccolo kidnaps him when he is 4, during the saiyan saga and Namek he is 5, when Goku comes back he is 6,5 then after 3 years he is 9. His birthday is May 18th and the attack is on May 12th so you could say that he is 10 because he is going to be 10 in 6 days. In the eng dub they say that he is already 10 at this point but this is 6 days before his 10th birthday. Later on becuase of something that happenes it becames even more difficult to tell how old the characters are to the point that I'm not even trying to keep up with it in the Dragon Ball Super manga (which takes place about 20 years after the Saiyan Saga) .
That scene where Gero impales Yamcha was much more unsettling in the original show. The scene is slower and you can hear Yamcha's bones cracking and see his back bulge just before Gero's hand bursts out. All the while Yamcha is trying to scream but can't because his mouth is covered.
About that Krilllin joke, I've always been paranoid about my height, 5' 9", which is funny since i'm the tallest in my family, taller than my father and even brothers-in-law(seriously, both of my brothers-in-law are below 5' 4") and i'm tied as second tallest in my group of friends, anyway, recently, like a month ago tops, I was in serious risk to need to do a procedure to remove a ginormous kidney stone, and my mom was extremely paranoid like me, because she knows i'm terrified of anesthesia(the idea of losing control over my body terrifies me after something pretty dark that I won't talk about happened to me), so I had to make a last exam, an ultrasound of my kidneys, and thank God I had eliminated by my own that hateful stone, so when I came home, I called my mom "mom, are you sitting down? I just came back from the ultrasound... it would be better if you sit down to hear what I have to tell you..." she answered "pablo, WHAT HAPPENED? PLEASE TELL ME NOW" and I "so, mom... I don't know how to say it... i'm still only 5' 9" tall and since i'm 30 years old I won't get any taller at all..." then she replied "OK BUT WHAT ABOUT THE KIDNEY STONE?" and I answered "the kidney wha- OH THAT, yeah, there isn't one anymore, I eliminated it by myself apparentely" aaaaand her final answer was "pablo I love you more than anything but you are a fucking asshole" and hung up on me, it was so worth it.
Goku vs Jackie Chun (undercover master Roshie) was also pretty good. He turns great ape and barely loses in the end due to the experience difference (aka goku was shorter so his kick hurt less).
My personal fav in this episode is "I wonder if they dream of electric sheep." although "my second guess was plane" is pretty close. Which is impressive because I'm not generally one to love referential humour too much (if the joke is just "eh we referenced that thing that you love" it kind of sucks) but I don't know why, in this case I just loved it.
Now things start getting…well, I *was* going to say “serious”, but that’s not entirely true. The action gets greater, characters get better development, and the humor absolutely skyrockets. So, I guess “better and better” is the phrase I’m looking for.
Bulma wanted Vegeta to get a job and help raise baby Trunks.... when she (her family essentially) is ridiculously rich. Why would Vegeta need a job? 😅😂
Leave it to Goku to botch the cover story at the last literal minute.... Vegeta be the deadbeat dad of the year, he's managed to be worse than Goku XD 7:50 His spine was literally severed; he should be dead! XD Also if I am not mistaken the same VA that voiced Cooler in the TFS movie also voices the old man android. I'm like 89% sure its the same guy. 9:02 in the dub, the song they play as the old man laser beams the city is like some creepy circus clown horror type of tune. It freaked me out as a kid. For context the Red Ribbon Army were a major antagonistic group that Gokue fought and defeated in the OG Dragon Ball.
I still don't really understand why Vegeta would need to get a job when Bulma's family is basically the Dragonball equivalent to the Stark's or the Wayne's....I mean, does he even have legal documentation beyond 'Yes, that WAS my idiot subordinate who turned a city into a glass floor and decimated one of your armies, and yes, I can agree that both could logically count as an act of war'? Because I don't think he does.
I know the running gag about Yamcha being weak and Krillin being owned all the time, but just to put things in perspective, Both Yamcha and Krillin are FAR more powerful than Goku was when he was fighting Vegeta. Each of them could easily destroy the planet if they wanted. So they are still incredibly powerful. They just can't keep up with the literal alien warrior race.
This has been a wild ride with Beth and Ken and I thought Vegeta would be Ken's fav as Goku would be Bethany's but flip it around you'll see their favorite. But Bethany loves Gohan since season 1.

The anime mistranslated for a while and put it at 10.

Some vague context - The Red Ribbon Army were a group of bad guys from the original Dragonball (when Goku was a kid) that Goku took down.
Goku: "do they dream of electric sheep", is a reference to one of the first Cyberpunk books "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" by Philip K. Dick.

Akira Toriyama, creator and writer of Dragon Ball, is an incredibly creative man, but he does have certain weaknesses as a writer. The last season of TFS's Abridged will subtly show these factors off, but I won't specify just what I mean until later.
Related, there's a persistent rumor that Akira actually wanted to end the manga at the finale of the Freiza Saga, but it was so popular that he was encouraged/semi forced to continue doing so, and hence he started mucking with things to try and get its popularity to drop. The first was breaking up the long established pairing of Bulma and Yamcha (who had been on and off more or less since the start of the manga, and unlike in the Abridged series, didn't break up for good until the time skip between Goku's return and the Androids arriving) and putting her with Vegeta, who was still one step away from being the group's mortal enemy, to the point where they had a kid. He thought readers would reject it, instead the pairing was actually EMBRACED, so his 'attempt' 'backfired'. However, this is just a story: it's been debunked as false, more or less. But it's something to keep in mind over events that are to come.

15:56 Ages are interesting in dragon ball. At this point in the story Gohan is 10 in the anime and 9 in the manga. Piccolo kidnaps him when he is 4, during the saiyan saga and Namek he is 5, when Goku comes back he is 6,5 then after 3 years he is 9. His birthday is May 18th and the attack is on May 12th so you could say that he is 10 because he is going to be 10 in 6 days. In the eng dub they say that he is already 10 at this point but this is 6 days before his 10th birthday.
Later on becuase of something that happenes it becames even more difficult to tell how old the characters are to the point that I'm not even trying to keep up with it in the Dragon Ball Super manga (which takes place about 20 years after the Saiyan Saga) .

That scene where Gero impales Yamcha was much more unsettling in the original show. The scene is slower and you can hear Yamcha's bones cracking and see his back bulge just before Gero's hand bursts out. All the while Yamcha is trying to scream but can't because his mouth is covered.

About that Krilllin joke, I've always been paranoid about my height, 5' 9", which is funny since i'm the tallest in my family, taller than my father and even brothers-in-law(seriously, both of my brothers-in-law are below 5' 4") and i'm tied as second tallest in my group of friends, anyway, recently, like a month ago tops, I was in serious risk to need to do a procedure to remove a ginormous kidney stone, and my mom was extremely paranoid like me, because she knows i'm terrified of anesthesia(the idea of losing control over my body terrifies me after something pretty dark that I won't talk about happened to me), so I had to make a last exam, an ultrasound of my kidneys, and thank God I had eliminated by my own that hateful stone, so when I came home, I called my mom "mom, are you sitting down? I just came back from the ultrasound... it would be better if you sit down to hear what I have to tell you..." she answered "pablo, WHAT HAPPENED? PLEASE TELL ME NOW" and I "so, mom... I don't know how to say it... i'm still only 5' 9" tall and since i'm 30 years old I won't get any taller at all..." then she replied "OK BUT WHAT ABOUT THE KIDNEY STONE?" and I answered "the kidney wha- OH THAT, yeah, there isn't one anymore, I eliminated it by myself apparentely" aaaaand her final answer was "pablo I love you more than anything but you are a fucking asshole" and hung up on me, it was so worth it.

Frieza arrives in earth (1 1/2 years later) = Gohan 7
Android saga (3 years laters) = Gohan 10
Goku vs Jackie Chun (undercover master Roshie) was also pretty good. He turns great ape and barely loses in the end due to the experience difference (aka goku was shorter so his kick hurt less).
My personal fav in this episode is "I wonder if they dream of electric sheep." although "my second guess was plane" is pretty close. Which is impressive because I'm not generally one to love referential humour too much (if the joke is just "eh we referenced that thing that you love" it kind of sucks) but I don't know why, in this case I just loved it.

I still don't really understand why Vegeta would need to get a job when Bulma's family is basically the Dragonball equivalent to the Stark's or the Wayne's....I mean, does he even have legal documentation beyond 'Yes, that WAS my idiot subordinate who turned a city into a glass floor and decimated one of your armies, and yes, I can agree that both could logically count as an act of war'?

I know the running gag about Yamcha being weak and Krillin being owned all the time, but just to put things in perspective, Both Yamcha and Krillin are FAR more powerful than Goku was when he was fighting Vegeta. Each of them could easily destroy the planet if they wanted. So they are still incredibly powerful. They just can't keep up with the literal alien warrior race.
Still don't know why Bulma would want Vegeta to get a job when's she's probably the richest woman on the planet.

Gohan in the manga at this moment was 9 or 8. Which is the age you really want to go with. As he was four at the beginning of the series, five after the piccolo training for the sayians, then a year later for Goku to get back with the freiza fight at 6, then three years passed, so 9 at most(or 8 dependent on which month and all.).
The anime mistranslated for a while and put it at 10.
