When it comes to the prevention of PMV and salmonella! it's a definite for me especially if I'm racing. Some can get away with it and that's fine. I think about birds mixing in the crates, not all members are honest enough to keep a sick ones home. I recall stories years ago and witness birds throwing up the night of shipping, it could've been for being car sick or Adeno who knows but it's too late they were already in the truck. I believe in what your mentioned in the video 100% but ONLY because you mentioned vax. I'll add that tiny 2 % is MUST for PMV and Salmonella prevention when mixing birds other clubs. JMO.
