Mackintosh's Toffee is a childhood favourite of mine. Living is a very small village in the middle of the Canadian prairie, it was one of the few treats we could get (circa 1958).
We used to get Quality Street every Christmas. My grandfather used to mail a huge "care package" from England to Wyoming. Quality Street sweets, oxo cubes, flakes, smarties, licorice all sorts, Coleman's dry mustard, Shipham's paste, Christmas Puddings and hard sauce... etc, etc, etc!
Even after we got married and moved away, Mum sent us all a tin in our Xmas box, no matter what country we lived in. It's our Canadian family tradition & something I still buy for myself... every Xmas.

Norwich is known for having a pub for everyday if the year and a church for every week. You should definitely look around the cathedral know how much you and Ryan like old architecture.

Welcome to our lovely county of Norfolk - one of England's hidden gems. And the beautiful city of Norwich. Not much of a pub crawl though, 2 pubs..? Although you were in Tombland, which has some great pubs and lovely cobbled streets. Next time - start from the Train Station, hang right at the river, work your way up passed the Cathederal, into Tombland, then on towards the Market Place, then across to the Castle, then down 'Prince of Wales Road'. That should cover 13 to 15 pubs (the correct definition of a 'pub crawl').
