Tub liner is brilliant at protecting your tub, but has an abrasive finish that will rub holes in anything you carry when travelling on corrugations or rough tracks. I have Line X in my tub, and unless you're carrying bricks I would get a soft floor liner.

Provide discrimination with your fuses, it'll make fault finding a lot easier. IE... Provide the biggest fuse at the battery, then step down the size of fuse as you go down the wiring and your cable gets smaller. EG... 100 amp at your battery, 80 main fuse at your main switch/distribution box, than maybe 40~60 amp for individual circuits depending on wire size. Finally your individual appliance fuse must be smaller than your final circuit fuse to protect the appliance. This will provide a level of discrimination to the circuits and allow for easier fault finding. You'll know if the fault is with a wire or the appliance depending which fuse is blown. Also, if installing a 240 volt inverter, it's best to install it close to the battery.

First time I have watched one of these pod casts. An old mate taught me when working on 12v, "You Can't put the smoke back in the wire". I like to over rate the wires and match the fuse to the load, for example 20amp wire I run a 15amp fuse. I like the way Ronny mentioned simply running an Anderson plug to the back, I want to do the same in a mates Ranger that he camps out of (Sleeps in the canopy) so he can run basic lights, charge phones etc etc. When it comes to bed liner, Check out BC Coatings & their Predator Coating, Aussie designed, made & owned unlike that other popular brand. I ahve sprayed my whole Pajero in it and love the stuff.

Make sure the DC to DC charger has a lithium profile. I'm a sparky and I would recommend you getting a Bluetti power station and solar panel combination. You can use it in the 4x4 and you can use it at camp or around the house. Cheers.

Sounds like duggo needs a allspark slimline lithium behind his rear seats, with a good solar panel setup im loving mine as ive always got icy cold beers ❤
