Hello.thanks for the video. Just incase you are interested... One of my ancestors married a Samuel Grimshawe of Errwood hall. Her name was Janet (Jessie) maiden name Allan. From our family tree it says she married him in 1849 and they had children. There should be a burial site there also as the information says a couple of the children named Samuel and Mary were buried there.
I wish that I could do the walk one day when I visit the U.K. thanks again.

I'm from the high peak myself, I knew where the shrine is and that . But I didn't know it was Spanish?

Yes, it was for the Spenish staff they had at Errwood Hall!

@@HenrysAdventures ohhh . I just looked up the history of it and it is pretty interesting, thank u! Didn't realise that just a shrine like that could have the history it does. I find it fascinating learning the history of the highpeak especially because there is so much interesting history we don't know about 😅 The shrine is called St. Joseph's shrine btw aha .
Ps. I don't know if you've been to the Crescent in Buxton, but you should definitely check it out! The history is really fascinating - I would love to be able to tell you about it, if you'd like 😅 .

@@HenrysAdventures you're welcome! Sorry, I'm a huge history nerd 😅 . I took it for my exams where we did local history so I know a heck of a lot about Buxton and the high peak plus I have learnt a lot from family, friends and just being in the high peak.
Fun fact: The Crescent was originally meant to be built at the top of the hill from where is now however the farmer who owned that land refused to sell it to the duke of Devonshire so they had to settle for the bottom of hill which was just marshland hence why its taken so long for them to finish it (aswell as Covid-19) .
