@@Njx063 It's honestly a mix of journalist fighting blindly and jumping at every story they can get, and people so far in the movement and themselves that they think backwards. So the circle continues. But instead we need to cover the right stories and keep our voice loud, but also rational. The only way to get the message through, is by appealing to the Conservatives better nature and getting them to understand through our eyes. Obviously the BLM movement have been progressing and regressing, because it's so unorganized and jumps the gun with assigning blame, they don't see that they defend the wrong people alot of the time. So they lose credibility in the eyes of the Conservative and other non political people. We have to speak loud, clear, and logical. That's what differentiates us from the crowds.

A part of the reason why asians are still heavily discriminated is that we as asians never stood up for ourselves. It’s just not a custom in our culture. In our culture we have always been taught to withstand these bullies and to never stand up against them. It’s just sad that people often use this to their advantage and discriminate against us.

When it is only white people around, it isn't like you think. There is racism but it is more muted because most white people aren't racist and dont tolerate it. Not so in the black community. As an Asian American, I can attest to this. It is very sneaky. One example. I once dated a w girl who worked in Papa John's in Ohio. Her associates looked down on her and made a fool of her by saying, "She is dating Asians!" "She likes Asians, you guys." "That's why she likes small. Blah blah" Etc, etc. When she snapped, they were like, "Oh we were just kidding, chill out," shamelessly turning it on her! She was very stressed. They were nice when I saw them. When the news puts on the air about Asian hate, they ALWAYS show the few incidents of the Blacks with disagreements with Asians, and many times it is due to an Asian calling us a racial slur but however Asians are in our neighborhoods making millions of dollars from us and NOT putting anything back into our neighborhoods. Recently an Asian killed 6 year old little Black girl over a bike and charges were dropped. There are hundreds of cases where Black hate from Asians have been death for us, but when the opposite happens we will surely pay for it on a much larger scale. It took Mr. Aubrey’s death over 1 year to get the charges labeled as a hate crime, why? When we ALL know it was. I'm not gonna pity them, I'm only leveling the field. Don't act as if there's people just as you described in every other community, or that all Asians are just as selfish as I am. So the circle continues. But instead we need to cover the right stories and keep our voice loud, but also rational. The only way to get the message through, is by appealing to the Conservatives better nature and getting them to understand through our eyes.
Obviously the BLM movement have been progressing and regressing, because it's so unorganized and jumps the gun with assigning blame, they don't see that they defend the wrong people alot of the time. A part of the reason why asians are still heavily discriminated is that we as asians never stood up for ourselves. It’s just not a custom in our culture. In our culture we have always been taught to withstand these bullies and to never stand up against them. It’s just sad that people often use this to their advantage and discriminate against us.

One example. I once dated a w girl who worked in Papa John's in Ohio. Her associates looked down on her and made a fool of her by saying, "She is dating Asians!" "She likes Asians, you guys." When the news puts on the air about Asian hate, they ALWAYS show the few incidents of the Blacks with disagreements with Asians, and many times it is due to an Asian calling us a racial slur but however Asians are in our neighborhoods making millions of dollars from us and NOT putting anything back into our neighborhoods. It is whites that are giving Asians the most grief and Asians assimilate to whites, and certainly not Blacks. Recently an Asian killed 6 year old little Black girl over a bike and charges were dropped. There are hundreds of cases where Black hate from Asians have been death for us, but when the opposite happens we will surely pay for it on a much larger scale. It took Mr. Aubrey’s death over 1 year to get the charges labeled as a hate crime, why? When we ALL know it was. I am certainly not saying there’s not hate crimes against Asians, but I am saying we as blacks have not gotten anything for building this country and continuously being beaten up by police and other races disproportionately and getting nothing for it. Believe it or not, most blacks are very happy for Asians for actually getting that bill passed because we are hoping that it will happen for us next because we are tired of being discriminated against only for a dark skin when we contribute to this society in a big way for so long. In America, Asian people have so dam little respect. Everything is harder for Asians in America. Even minorities like black and Latinos have less respect for Asian Americans. Sadly. All these people think of themselves as superior.
There's no rise. It's just FINALLY after decades, being brought up.
