I thought the Hevle Brothers built a steel tube fuselage. Anyway, really lovely aircraft. Like you say... it's a wonder more weren't built as a two-seater. Thanks again!
So from what I have read, the Hevle brothers built the first "Hevle Classic" out wood, so as to better modify the existing wooden Fly Baby design. And then, while they sold plans, I don't believe they ever sold kits of the Hevle Classic, nor did they build a steel tube version. Too bad, as it seems like the most refined, tandem Fly Baby out there

The Flybaby is all wood, most folks with moderate skills can easily build one with patience and persistence. Lots of support in the Fly baby group
