What was the point of that? I don't think there's a point to anything anymore on Corrie, mind you. The narrative is as flilmsy and I guess we just have to get used to that. I think most of the bad writing started back when Phelan survived Andy's attack last year. That was the first of many stupid decisions.
Maya Xo "Realistic"? What do you mean? That's a word I see thrown around a lot. Even it did make things realistic, that isn't the aim of storytelling. You want realism, then sit in your bedroom and look at your wall. All it does is fuck up the narrative and the tone. It's now incredibly repetitive and poorly executed. It also relies too heavily on shock value.
