I'm Chinese. This is beautiful! I like it when our art, tradition or culture is enriched with an augmentation that comes from outside and different from our culture. Of course, it's not an addition for its own sake, as that would be contrived, but a significant augmentation that fuses into the original, adding to its essential value(s) and aesthetics, yet imbues the original art or tradition with something different. Something new or different is added, but the whole finds a new harmony.
If you think Western art is so cheap and easy, try composing something like what Bach or Mozart did, or paint something comparable to Michelangelo's work. Even baking good bread can involve a lot of skill and knowledge.
@ I do admit Western classical music has its greatness. But as far as paintings and calligraphy or carving is concerned what the Chinese does leaves the west in the dust. That reminds me to tape my banana on my war tonight just in case I forget having it for breakfast tomorrow.
