Love hearing from you. Frannie looks lovely in her new skirt. I completely understand about being around a lot of people, as an introvert myself, though I like seeing people, I find myself getting anxious before I get to an event, and really become drained quickly. Have a wonderful visit with your mom, and your time off.
It’s always a pleasure to spend time with you and Frannie! 39°C here in Greece - too hot for knitting, and getting hotter. Love the earrings and seeing the festival . Take care and see you next time.

The festival looked wonderful and so did your booth- and Franny of course! Love your crochet cardi- it looked great on you, especially when you were dancing! 😉 good to see your handsome husband knitting away at the festival too. Always a joy catching up with your making and your adventures. Have fun on your holiday and spending time with your mum. 💕 I had my three daughters and their families home over the last two weeks so too busy to knit, but such fun times!

I finally got time to sit and watch this video and I am so happy to see you back in your yarnie space. You have come back with so much energy and happiness and it is contagious. Your yarn, your booth, your enthusiasm, your husband knitting...This 53+ minutes has been an absolute joy. When I saw hubby knitting on IG I felt so much joy and to hear that HE requested yarn and needles was simply amazing to me - I thought that he was retired from "the knit game". 😉

Have a restful time on your week off. I understand with your black top… it’s hard to pay high prices for a basic top. I used to sew for myself and I want to sew for myself but my machine needs a tuneup and I just never get there it is further away than I want to drive just to get this done.
Your beautiful colors for lovenote and Ranunculus! So fun to have your mother back for a visit. All of your knits are lovely in their bright colors. You make me look for the brights to knit with… why do the ones you use look so wearable! 😂 Sari Nordlund has that bright pink camisole… so cute. I am old but I could use a pop of color maybe… I want fluffy squishy off white pullover with neon pops. I finally started Skeindeer Holiday cardigan! I am blaming you🥰😂🤣. Long story but my favorite holiday pullover is gone. I decided when you finished yours that this is the sweater of my dreams! I have chosen white with red green and gold motifs Someday I will figure out how to show you

I so love your podcast, Jana. You come across as a really genuine person, a real natural talker. You share with us your ups and downs, not always falsely happy and organized. I love how you tell us about family things and not stick strictly to knitting. You make me feel like you are my friend. It must have been great at the Festival but to come home to the santuary of your home is even better. Really nice acquisitions from the Festival. Look at my holes top is great and the black top will look lovely once finished. Take care ❤😊

Always enjoy your vlogs! I'm an introvert, too... and even I have enjoyed seeing people (although I still have to go home and knit quietly to recover!) I'm excited to go to Flock Fiber Festival in a few weeks - and see ALL the knitters! I LOVE the beige you selected for your mom's cardigan! I'm not a beige person, myself, but you described it perfect with "cool sand" color... I really love it, and it's a color I would knit (and I mostly knit vibrant colors). Enjoy your time, and I hope you get a good break. I have 3 sons - I know you need it! :)

Im so happy the festival was successful, and congratulations to Petra!! We're on our last day of a special holiday to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary; we hosted our entire family (9 total) on Maui, where we spend months in winter. Everyone snorkled, surfed, zip-lined, and luau-ed their hearts out. We had one more hike planned for today, but the sunburns and cell phone emergency (dont let your phone fall into the ocean!) are giving us a day to rest & pack up. I got to watch all the fun, because Im getting a hip replacement in 3 weeks! And I only knit about 2 inches on this sock; it seems I'll never get to the heel! Enjoy your time off...its precious.

Hello my dearest Jana. So pleased you had such fun at your festival. I love your earrings and jewels. It will be great next week to have time off with your Mum and relax. Men must all have the same brain. My husband once called me to look for his keys, but as he was miles away in the car, using his keys I wonder what miracle he thought i could conjure. 😂.
I have to admit that my crochet production has been really poor lately. I have been finishing a large shawl but it is taking forever . I made it worse by gathering the yarn and pattern etc for two projects I want to start.

I am glad you had fun at the festival. I would love to have temperatures of 30C; this week the highs have been over 100F (41C).

Hi Jana. I forgot to tell you that I am knitting a blanket for my 18 year old granddaughter that is going to a university, and it is in garter stitches with the Rios yarn in the colors Lavanda and white. The Lavanda is a dark purple. It is in rows of 10 in the both colors with 187 stitches. I finished 2 skeins already, and the feel of it is great. She is leaving in two weeks, and I don’t think I will finish it so she will get it when she comes to visit. Her name is Emma. Jana, I like the two dresses that you showed wearing on your Episode 40. And there it is!!👏👏👏 Love the neon! I did short rows and like it! I made the correct size for me, a Large, my bust is 40" and it fits great. I made bracelet length sleeves and longer body. Two 100g. skeins was perfect in a cotton dk.😊

Thanks for sharing your time! Definitely no judging: I keep casting on new projects just when I was working down my WIPs. It's how it goes. Our garden is poor this year as well for some reason. Good thing we have fiber as therapy. Enjoy your weekend/week and I hope the weather holds out for you (I love those temps, too but my job is in Florida--I need to move!).
When kids were little had to be more extroverted and it was exhausting. Now blissfully alone so is hard when I do spend time with people even if is very positive.Found an alpaca farmer going out of business who sold me 14 fleeces!!! Now look like some kind of hoarder, could have gotten them all at half price but 40 seemed over the edge of reason. Still very jealous of your ease to get linen things. Just not available in US for less than $200 and cotton is often blended with polyester so is very hot. We have had heat so is only 73 now at 2045 and the wildfire smoke haze one day then is low and impacts breathing the next. Thunderstorms may take down smoke but makes humidity high. Gardens and fruit trees all around this area are struggling too. Peace

The kids learn to knit at the regular school. They are taught many different crafts there.
For whatever reason, there is no sound on this video no matter what I try. 😮😢
