When I see “burn” and “massive” in the description of the video, and it’s a LD18 video, well, you can bet I’m watching, no question or doubt about it. And the 350 grapple just adds to the entertainment. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
It’s amazing how much the 350 can handle. That grappler itself weighs a lot and it can still pick up those large stump and trees. You gotta be happy with it.
Hey Chris, have you ever had a fire so hot that it made some glass. Watching you load the brush with the 350, it seems to burn it as soon as you get the next grapple load. Thanks for sharing this, all of your videos with us Chris, it's a pleasure Watching you work and for you taking the time to tape it all. Becareful out there and may God bless you and protect you. Thanks Chris
The Graptor really makes sense for a large excavator. Lighter than a Bucket & Thumb, plus you can drop it all when you don't need it and don't have to carry around the Thumb deadweight. Good Call Chris!
It looked pretty good but I don't think it compares to that one a few years back that was estimated at 70' high. I think that's the one where the windshield of the 220 was cracked by the heat.
@@jpa1282 It's as big as he wants it to be. It's his story he can tell it how he wants. There is an Idaho'n, a Montana'n and a North Dakota'n going for a walk. He pulls it out then shivers and says "dam that waters cold." The North Dakota'n exclaims "ya, and its deep to."

I sure do enjoy a good controlled fire! I love the sound, smell, and best of all watching an unsightly brush pile disappear! Thanks for another great video Chris!
I had a neighbor that used to do work similar what you do. He had a John Bean sprayer similar to an orchard sprayer but all it did was blow air straight out the back. Unbelievable how fast he could get rid of a pile and have almost no smoke.
"Wow, watching this rubble burn is unbelievable! Every puff of smoke is like a majestic painting. Can't imagine how they can control such a huge fire. This scene will definitely haunt me for a long time. What do you think about how they handled this fire?"
The 220 can pick through the pile, but the 350 can move the pile quickly. Is a time saver for your burn technique? You adapted to felling and breaking the trees.
Hot coals, Chris. Them big old logs will burn like the sticks you started with.. if you can get your burn pile hot enough and able to suck air. The old birds nest principle works well. Other than that a massive North Carolina recycling plant would work. Ain't there a lot of sand down there?
Enjoyed the photo shot from the tripod with the burning pile and excavator in the background. Do you think we might get a chance to see Ol Justin in a video in the near future?
Hi Chris, (it's alive) (it's alive). The t Rex is on the move. All you need is a set of arms and hands, on the upper boom section. This is probably the largest burn pile yet,Joe Capo.
I really don't think the camera does justice to just how gargantuan that bonfire is, it's bigger than the 330 excavator & when Chris loaded that crapple onto his trailer a couple of videos ago the crapple on its own was nearly as big as Betsy the traxcavator.
Very interesting.....I don't know much about heavy Equipment so at the risk of sounding dumb....Is there concern on the heat from the fire melting the hydraulic hoses?
I’ve been enjoying your vlogs for at least five years now and used to love these burns, but lately its a bittersweet experience. Here in Denmark big open fires have been illegal for years now. The summers are warmer and winters have become warmer every year. Something has to stop this madness. It was fun as long as it lasted. When do you guys wakeiup?
There is zero proof of AGW. The only people pushing that narrative have something to gain by hamstringing USA and EU economies. China does not recognize AGW, and that's where the lion's share of CO2 is coming from.
Why have you never built an air pipe? It isn't like you don't come across of have some old 8" schedule that would be nothing to toss on the trailer and put the pile on top of. Put a leaf blower in the end to get it started and watch the flames pull the air in. The burn piles would be incinerated in a day or less and not require restack risking the machine.
Different strokes for Different folks... Fog and smoke doesn't mix.. Will Chris are there going to be any new farm ponds to be built during the 2025 year I like watching the videos of you building the farm ponds it is highly interested and I really like it
Several times it looked like you were going to snag a hose. It looks like you could shorten them up quite a bit and still have full functionality. Of course that would take time and money. Whatever.
And in Germany/Europe, burning wood in fireplaces without filters is forbidden. And you do whatever you want in the USA. Hammer hard.
Most of the USA is still free, there are some people who really like to cause problems. There aren’t many in NC or Oklahoma where I’m from.
That's why we got rid of the last administration, we are a free people
That's because we in Germany "will save the world" with this stupid crap 😵

Probly one of his tallest fires ever stacked 😂 lol don't blame him for wanting to use the bigger machine
Plus he's kinda partial to the 350😂

People don’t realize the sure size of the 350 and the attachments you can fit the whole front end of a pickup truck in the bucket
I think it was the video yesterday when Chris was working on the old 220 the thumb was as big or bigger than Chris and the bucket very big.

The bucket it’s that big. I have an ec355 at work. Love the machine but no way it will handle a bucket that large.
Watch a video where Betty is struggling to put graptor rake on a trailer. Then you will truly understand how massive it is

The wind will never blow until you light the fire. It’s always too late then. You’re gonna tick off somebody, that’s just the way it works.
I was waiting for this day!! It did not disappoint.

Now that`s a fire, that 350 stacks that wood high, I don`t know what it is, I could watch all day, be well Chris.
That one hungry fire . You keep putting more on top but pile doesn't get any higher

I would like to see the effect that new blower on the skid steer would have aimed at the base of that fire. I’ guessing massive flames.
