I do love this episode.
Harriet Thorpe is in Absolutely Fabulous, she plays Patsy's coworker and is one episode per series. Her character in that (Fleur) is similar to Lioness Carole. Sort of, she's not mean, but talks similar.

I'm having a great laugh at the theme of the lion. My boss, once sent me a on a course called Tame the Paperwork Tiger ran by some guy from Texas who must have been related to Gordon. Needless to say, I learnt nothing at all from the seminar

When you think in depth about Carole’s alter-ego, that could psychologically represent all the resentment and negativity she’s been hiding from Gordon since the start of the show. A prime example being when she throws her iconic “How can I help you?” line back at Gordon which I believe he conceived for her in the first or second episode while she was still in her post divorce depression phase. There’s so much to analyse about her if you’re one of those people who like to study in great detail about a show’s characters, themes, narrative and social/internal commentary.
Also, Gavin at 24:22-24:34, absolute giga chad. More reason why he’s one of the show’s best characters.

I've always thought Carol was very attractive because I first seen the actress in an episode of Bottom where Richie and Eddie had the pheremone spray, thinking every woman would fall in love with them. She was the first one they approached, definitely more like her alter ego on that occasion
