We Drank $300 Champagne on the Disney Fantasy at Remy Brunch with the Tim Tracker family Day 2 DCL

Day 2 of our Disney Fantasy Cruise with the Tim Tracker Family. It was Mothers Day and our first day at sea so we booked Brunch at Remy. The cost per person is $75 for the meal you also get one welcome Cocktail for that price as well. Jenn and I decided to try the top tier Champagne pairing. The service on the Disney Fantasy is incredible but it gets even better at Remy with the Chef describing the dishes and the complexity and effort and of course skill that goes into this experience. The service is top notch you would find it difficult to find another restaurant that pays this much attention to detail as Remy.
The Champagnes were a perfect complement to each dish and each dish was a work of art. Incredible flavours executed perfectly. Simple dishes at times that just highlighted the freshness of the ingredients. The Asparagus was a perfect example.
The Tooth Fish with the potato sea foam and house made Ketchup was my favourite dish, followed by the Austailian Wagyu tenderloin.
The two deserts were both simple and amazing.
This was a pricy meal considering how much you paid just to get on the cruise but I truly believe that the experience is well worth the additional cost. I calculated that if we had wanted to try that many champagnes by buying full bottles it would have cost well over $1500 in Champagne alone.
This was an incredible meal made only better by sharing it with friends.

That brunch looked very enticing, but ridiculously expensive. I agree that it is good to do it at least once if you can afford it. Disney cruises are expensive enough, and to pay that much just for brunch? It would be very hard for us to justify doing that. Maybe once for dinner, but that's it. Thanks for sharing!

There is such a difference between inexpensive and premium Champagne and how the parings enhance the flavours.
Just catching up on your vlogs what a great experience that champagne brunch was for the money like you said not something you do always but after not travelling for so long now is the time to splurge! To spend time of Jen & Tim's incredible balcony & your own during the cruise what a dream come true after no traveling. Exciting!

The important take away, for anyone who is considering Remy/Palo on their cruise is that you MUST dress as if you are going to a fancy wedding. That means everything from shoes to ties and jackets. They will not hesitate to turn you away from your fancy meal if you are not properly attired. Review the dress code and pack accordingly.
Yes . It means you will need to pack way more. The codes are different between Palo and Remy and Burch has a different dress code then supper . So I got a bit confused.

It is. The freshness is incredible and to be way out at sea eating this stuff , your right. It is hard to believe .

The Brunch at Remy, the food and wine and the champagne, looked amazing. My Husband and I finally took our first trip in 5 years. We owe it to ourselves to celebrate good friends, and just life. Remy was expensive but, how many chances will you have to do it?

I can only imagine regret if we didn’t take the opportunity to experience this with friends. Memories pay dividends for the rest of our lives.
Food looks to fancy for me. I'm a plain meat & potatoes girl. But it looks like so much fun.
We love basic and simple food but equally do love experiences that is take things to the highest level. Trust me there are times I would take a Disneyland Corn dog over a slice of wagyu tenderloin. I really is fun.

The meal looked delightful and I am sure was absolutely delicious but the over attentiveness of the wait staff would try my nerves.
The meal is $75 per person. The champagne was one glass per type.

@@abeamzn1898 yes regular cocktails are ridiculously expensive compared to the cost of the ingredients I totally agree. This was a bit different.
