    I appreciate the fact that he likes a car that’s a 2 out of 4. No trailer queens, similar to the reason you sold your beautiful 964, Will.
    Drive em they way they were meant to be driven: hard.

    a longnose targa w/ flares, no tail... a very good look, not too common. targas look good in silver - works w/ the targa-bar & black roof. car appears maybe a bit high at the rear? Eastern Forest Carver ... next owner can evolve further, to taste.

    Love the story. So many things to say about the car but I’ll keep them to myself. Glad he loves it and I’m sure someone else will as well

    Great work and great video. Won't touch my 1986 Targa with 57 K kilometers though

    I sold my 88 Carrera with a rear tail 10 years ago for NSX. regard a little if I have rooms for 2 summer cars. The 911 had zero problems other than master brake cylinder repair, decided to change the fuel filter cylinder when the car had starting hesitation. It's noisy like he'll and my body ache after a longer ride. Engine is just solid and easy to find parts. My mechanic is a retired Porsche amateur racing guy. He could identify the issues just by your description. Sold for $30k cdn, now double or ?

    I’ve been down the same road with a street car with a too aggressive cam. Tough to drive on the street. Very bad in slow traffic. The car is very unhappy at stop lights. Doesn’t come off the line easily. Stalls. Great on the Highway at higher revs, but over time will wear you down

    Really nice. How are the wheels filling in the wheel well? Wide tires, 930 trailing arms, or spacers? Thanks a lot.

      205/55’s on the 16” wheels. I believe they are 16 x 7 but I am not sure of the offset. I’m pretty sure the details are in this video: th-cam.com/video/mHfyj3umw-M/w-d-xo.html

    Cool California plate…but how do you keep the former owner’s plate on a NC car?

    • @Rennthusiast
      @Rennthusiast  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can run a vintage NC plate of the same year that the car was made as long as you register the car antique and carry the antique plate in the car.
      Running a period plate from another state is technically not permitted but I have done it before on my cars and I considered it a “beg for forgiveness” type of thing if I got pulled over. I never had a problem (knock on wood)

    • @grumpy9478

      '72 T came w/ 2.4 & MFI (US)... Euro had carbs. by now, old 911s could've had more motors than owners had wives.
