Hi, im hoping for some guidance. Im considering making a career change and going to do my Post Grad in Primary teaching scotland. I would be taken voluntary Redundancy from my current employment. However concerned it is not the right time in my life as I have a 3 year old little girl and 7 month old baby girl born in lockdown. Im scared i will miss out in alot if time with the kids while they are young. Plus juggling studying and motherhood scared me. I have not been at uni in 10 years! Would you recommend waiting until kids are older or should i just go for it? I have already submitted my ucas application for 2021. X

That sounds awesome jade! Well done, truly only you can decide, my youngest was p3 when I started and I thought that was a good age...it’s a very individual choice isn’t it? I really haven’t helped sorry xx

Never be afraid to make the “wrong” decision, it will always be the right one for you- you spend a lot of your student year making resources, studying, waking early and getting to bed late- do you feel you can do that when your wee one is just under 2? Xx
