I forgot to mention one thing in the video! The flowers on the top part (from the brown scarf tutorial, which you can see here th-cam.com/video/w5s9R-hT1is/w-d-xo.html) are actually smaller than in the scarf pattern. In the scarf I made each flower petal with 4 dc, but on the blouse I made each flower petal with only 3 dc. So on the blouse, the flowers are not as full as on the scarf, but they still look pretty. I made the flowers with only 3 dc on my blouse because I wanted to be sure I'll have enough yarn for the blouse. But also it's much easier on the hands making those flower petals with 3 dc instead of 4.
Such a lovely design. I love the color choice. It would match a lot of colors! 😍. Quick question... Would it be possible for you to teach us how to make a long or midi skirt? Thanks. 💐

Thank you for showing us how to adjust this for our size. It's beautiful! I'm interested in moving my crochet beyond shawls, scarves and blankets. This looks like a project I could succeed at and I'll give it a go after I've finished a couple (well 4... 5!) works in progress.
You are so welcome! A lot of people ask for a step-by-step tutorial, but I simply wouldn't be able to create one that would fit everyone. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous Summer top! I’m so happy the TH-cam algorithm shared your video with me! I just purchased four of your patterns on Etsy and I’m going to attempt to make a similar top for myself. I love how you used two different stitch patterns to keep it interesting. Hi Sharon, I will not have the written pattern because it would take me a lot of time to figure out different sizes. It's easy to make a garment in different sizes when it's made from one stitch. But in this blouse I combined different stitches, so it's not as simple to enlarge the pattern for other sizes and still keep the symmetry of the flowers.
Hi Georgina! You just made me realize that I forgot to mention one thing in the video. The flowers on the top part (from the brown scarf pattern) are actually smaller than in the scarf pattern. So to answer your question, no the flowers are not bigger, but they are actually not as full as in the scarf.
I absolutely love love love how your summer blouse turned out! I am excited to try and make one for me! How did you seem the blouse. Did you use a crochet hook or a needle? Also, how wide is the neck. Thank you! ❤️🧶
Hi Marian, I used a tapestry needle and the whip stitch to sew the side and shoulder seams. My shoulder seams are 5 inches, but I didn't measure how wide that made the neck opening. Right now I'm visiting my parents and I don't have the blouse with me, but I'll try to remember to measure and get back to you when I can. Also I think I should make a separate video on the two sewing stitches that I use for my crochet items - the whip stitch and the mattress stitch.
@@OlgaPoltava That would be fun. I'd love to see that. Enjoy the visit with your parents. Tell them one of your "fans" says howdy from Texas! 🤠 Safe travels!
No, I will not make a written pattern for this blouse. It would take me a lot of time and effort to figure out all the sizes. It's one thing when you make a garment with only one stitch, then you can simply enlarge it. But when several stitches are combined, it takes way more work.

Oh Olga I bought the yarn and then watched your scarf and shawl video's, for me this will be a real challenge, and I don't think I'm brave enough 😂😘
