- This is the best wilderness hike in Nova Scotia Canada! Or at least it's my favorite place to hike when I'm out on the east coast.
Located only a short drive north of Halifax, this wilderness area is easily accessible but provides a challenging hike through the beautiful Nova Scotia wilderness.

I'm hearing you when you say you love nature and the peace and quiet. That was beautiful to watch and your aerial shots were stunning. I really appreciated seeing how the bridge, the stepping stones and the board walks were all made out of local stuff - no man made materials invading that natural beauty.
Thanks. Yeah, one of the reasons I like this spot - it's very natural in there.
Where I used to live. Wonderful N.S. Lovely place to live, people are so great.
Amazing work my friend, the whole trail looks just brilliant here! 🔥🔥
Thank you
Beautiful area. That’s my kind of hiking.
Mine too, it's a great place.
Breathtaking… beautiful filming.
Glad you enjoyed it
Nove Scotia has some great scaling spots. In Gaspereau Valley there's a place called Hell's Gate. Travel the river up from there and there's some very tough scaling sections, depending on your route some of the toughest scaling in Nova Scotia
What a beautiful area for a hike! Is this your first video with the drone? That lake goes on and on, nice.
It really is. I use the drone from time to time but generally only when I feel it's not going to disturb anyone.
Amazing hike, very beautiful but oh my the stamina it would take. I love these videos, takes me back to my hiking days, and the wonderful silence.
Glad you enjoyed it
My daughter is a fan of yours and was pretty excited to hear about the knot video. Great footage of the trails, it's so beautiful!
Awesome! Thank you! Hopefully she likes the knot video. 🙂
Nice video Jason...Granite Lake looked very beautiful. you must have a very powerful drone or it was windy on the lake, lol ...it was cool to see the wind moving the water. I hope you had enough time to explore some of Cape Breton also.
Thanks 👍 Yeah, I really like the look of the wind on the lake too.
Unfortunately I still haven't made it to Cape Breton, maybe next year.
Welcome back to Nova Scotia! You've found a real hidden gem with that trail.
Enjoy your stay! Maybe we'll see you on the trail.
Thanks Michael. Yeah I love it in Atlantic Canada. I think I'll be returning every year if I can manage.
Great video.. I'm often looking for great trails.. the only thing that holds me back sometimes is the chance of larger wildlife, ie bear or coyote, as I often hike alone. Thanks for sharing
You and me both!
Jag skulle gärna vandra den stigen, så vackert. Trevlig video.👍🏻🙋🏼♀️
Tack, det är ett riktigt trevligt ställe.
Que bonito lugar !! Yo quiero ir 🥾🚶🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🐛🌿
Loved that lake. Any chance of getting a canoe in there? 👍🙂🛶
I'm not sure, I would love to get in with a canoe and a fishing pole for a day.
Oh, do you need bear spray on these trails? Is there a moose? How would you protect yourself?
So beautiful. ❤️ Nova Scotia. Where in Mexico? I’m trying out Mazatlan as potential home base in Dec for a month.
Back to Queretaro and La Paz but more travel through the country.
@@TrailguidePictures I def want to check out Guanajuato city. Looks so beautiful
@@roundpaws it’s on my list too.
@@TrailguidePictures I think that would be a good late spring/summer trip because of the weather. Get out of the heat of Baja or Mazatlan 😅
Are you coming back to QRO?
That's the plan, and to a few other places.
