not long ago, maybe 8 years, i was baling hay with our new holland 77 baler and its perfect match our 1939 f-20. somehow the f-20 gave some trifling defect, i brought out the 10=20 as a replacement. this was the closest tractor and i did not want to shut off the v4 because they can be hard to start hot. i finished the baling ok. the neighbor stopped by and was aghast. he admonished me for using the 10=20 to bale. he said that the exhaust was so low that it could set the windrows afire. i let that go. one night, soon afterward, i was putting the 10-20 away after dark. the fire i saw shoot from the exhaust amazed me. i now knew that the neighbor was talking about. there is not one day that goes by that i am not thankful that god loves me. can you imagine the fire going around the windrows like a cheap forth of july snake. when you guys talk about the f=12 i will tell you how the barn rafters caught on fire with a car parked on the garden hose. there is not one day.... best holiday wishes, happy new year.

Thank you for the story. We have a fire breathing Farmall M. No matter how we adjust the carb, she blows a nice flame. When my boys were young and pulling at the tractor shows, they loved the fire show as they went down the track. Thank you for watching my video's!
