- The crew is back in Arkansas for Christmas. We head out to some of our old stomping grounds with our Dad to Chase the true king of game birds: the bobwhite quail! These guys are hard to find in Arkansas but our dogs lead us to a few! Enjoy!

Very few quail left in Arkansas surprised u seen one
We rarely find more than 2-3 coveys in a full day, but we rarely get skunked either. Our best day was 5 coveys in Arkansas. There are more than you’d think if you have a couple of dogs and are willing to walk! We enjoy it for the tradition. Thanks for watching!!
What’s tougher? Bobwhites in cutover timber or chukars on hills? You guys get birds no matter the terrain or species.
Thanks for watching! We think Bobwhites are tougher because of the lack of numbers. They also escape so fast to the woods in Arkansas that it makes it tough after you get the initial rise to ever get a good shot.

What part of the state?? I grew up hunting Bobs around Hot Springs,late 50s,early 60s!!!!!!!!!!
This was in the central part of the state. The best quail hunting is in western Arkansas any more, but that is relative!
