- As many of you know some puppies were recently abandoned near our farm. Of course Charlotte could not stand by and took them in while we got to work finding them a home. We also spotted something at the very bottom of our farm and knew we had to strim our way through years of bramble growth to check it out.

Luckily they were found and you took them in, they could've easily not survived being out in the rain. I can't believe people still do this type of thing, how difficult can it be to find homes with the internet. Thank you for your rescue and a great video.❤
You’ve got all you need for Christmas decorations on your land ! Pine, rosemary, lavender, bay ? not sure about holly ? Use bramble stems to make a circle weath, add other stuff , make some berries, you could also use them for garlands .
Those puppies were so sweet! It's hard to believe Portugal can be so cold. It must be damp cold. Here in N.S. we used to be up to our eyeballs in snow. We used to get some heavy duty blizzards. Today it's 13 C windy and rainy. We haven't had significant snow since the winter of 2016-2017. Climate change, eh? 🙂👍👍🎁🎅🌲🇨🇦
I think it’s the stone houses that make it cold. As you said back in uk regular snow fall but we had central heating. I think the clear skies during the day actually lead to cooler nights aswell. Back in the uk from October through March there would always be clouds so days were cold nights were cold. But here 11-3 warmish then night time… freezing 😅🥶😂

Good news about the puppies. What a find to find an orange tree! Here in Ontario Canada oranges are about $2.00 or more a pound!! Deals are few and far between. Grapefruit is sold individually mostly and are a dollar or more each. Depending on grading and quality they go for a lot more. They should triple the price on junk food and lower the price on the good food! A small bag of carrots or onions is around $3.00. A 4 litre bag of 2% milk is around $5.89 and $6.49. Most places sell it at a loss to get you into the store to buy more. So enjoy your fresh fruit my friends. I envy you. Happy Holidays.
Wow! That is crazy! Part of the reason we moved here was food quality/ pricing / security. Uk prices were going crazy before we left and was very hit and miss if it was in stock. However those prices are wild! Those snowy winters look beautiful but I guess it comes at a price 😳

They will have to be done pretty hungry goats! 😂 but that is actually a pretty good idea there is sometimes a guy with a small flock in the nearby village. May be we will ask him

Yh so the people who cut the pine down in spring payed for them. I know it seems horrible to cut trees but those ones are super invasive here. We will definitely be planting different ones that are better for the environment throughout the land.
