I have to chime in to the hard button for the heated seat issue you mentioned. I had a similar experience on my 2013 Focus ST which had the top-of-line trim touch screen system. When that system froze, I cannot control ANY of the hard buttons for radio, A/C, or anything. So if you can recall, would you be able to operate any of those hard buttons other than the seat heater when it froze? With the level of integrations for the newer vehicles, it seems whenever the system freezes, you'd be most likely cannot control anything even if there're hard buttons.
The solution is to import it from Europe. Around here it’s “served” with a 1.3 Turbo from 130hp to 180ish hp, GSE engine which is much, much quicker and actuality nice to drive, and even comes in two hybrid configurations, a mild 1.5 and a Plug-in (with 230 ish hp) 1.3 turbo. I really don’t know why they didn’t changed the engine in the USA. Brasil has that options. I bought one as a daily driver and I’m happy with it. Ps: mine is a manual (like most of them in Europe).
I had a 200 with the 2.4 and any time I needed accelerate I felt like I was hurting the car bc how high the engine would rev on such a little amount of throttle.
OMG❤️ , your girlfriend seems to be a Chrysler loyalest. I’m a HUGEE Chrysler / 200 fan so my eyes opened wide when she said Chrysler 200. How did she like that car? And what trim ?
Oh never mind on the loyalist part 😂 no more jeep over the engine ? Unless she’s drag racing seems like a very minor complaint. Also the trans jerk is due to the dog clutches in the trans. Way to much to explain you’d have to do research on the trans via TH-cam. The lane assist is not a Tesla type steering system. It’s for people who can’t stay in your lane so it’s not to be used with the adaptive cruise. Also 30 grand max? Do you see the interior ?! You’re absolutely insane for that comment. A rav 4 or CRV interior is not nearly as nice and they cost as much as this.
Also when you were talking about “Lane Keep” you kept pointing to the lane departure assist. The Lane Keep is on the steering wheel

Great Review. Thanks to you both for your honest commentary. I agree. Stellantis needs to update the powertrain.
The difference to the back is only if you get the elite package. Has better tail lamps an stuff
Thank you for the very honest review!!
Get a Mazda CX-5, has the luxurious interior without the clunky transmission. Priced similarly too.
The clunky transmission must have something to do with the FCA transmission tuning cause most FCA vehicles do the shifting clunk.
Hello Daily Motor. Which Compass had the technical problem with the heated seats the newer one or the older one?
Well done video thank you
That’s crazy at the interior got redesigned it’s literally the same steering wheel as the new grand Wagoneer

Compared with Hummer H1
There's a way to manually reboot the screen on the Jeep infotainment systems. You don't have to stop and shut the engine off.
Great vehicle with lame power train imo. Wish it got the 2.0t
in my country we get a much better better power train
In India we get a 2 litre diesel which is quite good. 170ps and 350nm of torque
Wish granted. Jeep is bringing 2 litre turbo for Compass.
I love both cars but honestly they the same whip I do like the 2020 better but that’s just me
For 2023 the replaced the engine and transmission with a a 2.0 Turbo with 200 HP and an 8 speed auto. Should perform a lot better.
