- We were invited on launch day to speak to the minds behind THE 007 X CONNOLLY COLLECTION at their flagship store in London, and we are taking YOU with us! Inspired by 007 and Connolly's long association with the iconic Aston Martin DB5, they created a line of items that celebrate the Anniversary of James Bond. But how did they decide what to create and what inspired them? All these questions and more are answered as we get to 'test-drive' some of these pieces in the wild!

A shoulder holster? For your cell phone? I live in Chicago. What could possibly go wrong?
You may not look so excited when you see the prices. Tshirts £130. I understand its a high end luxury brand. I'm not convinced many Bond fans could afford this stuff. I wear a suit for work. I get the bulging. The price of the holster at £395? The wear to value ratio of these items is not on the side of the consumer.
The truth is you can go to any Print works company and ask them to print those designs on any T-shirt at a fraction of the cost most likely.
Connolly really misjudged the market on this collection. They have to realise that their target audience for this collection isn't some young Hypebeasts who would shell out these kind of dough for some Off-white or Travis Scott collab streetwear; the Bond fans are far more discerning when it comes to style and value-proposition. We value hight quality materials over brands, and understates pieces over loud logos. This is a very poor move by Connolly.
Are Connelly hav'in a laugh...£130 for a plain white T-shirt really is a joke imo. Connolly had an opportunity here to make their T-shirts really affordable as an entry level product to the brand & attract more/new customers to the Brand. The trouble with fashion brands is they will justify their prices with all manner of BS. Personally for me, these T-shirts aren't that unique enough to be worth £20.
As for the Phone Holster anyone wearing that i honestly feel is open to a degree of ridicule. Its not something that non Bond fans will really appreciate.
I have the jacket and love it. But the customer experience was rather sub par when I purchased it a couple years ago. The watch holder is nice, but would only work with watches on a strap not a bracelet. I can't get behind the t-shirts or phone holster. The t-shirts look like something from Target or Walmart. Plus the designs are rather crap to put it bluntly. The holster's leather looks great but it comes off as try hard. Doesn't the metal clasp dig into your side when seated? Plus good luck if the police want to see identification and they see a shoulder holster as you reach for your holster wallet.
Well said regarding pricing. It's in the eye of the person who wants and can afford it.

Not only will you terrify people but everyone will think you're a clot after you've explained it's a way to hold your phone without bulging your suit
Yep i agree....When the jacket is off anyone wearing the holster and its on show to others...that person will mostly have the "piss taken out of them" aka mocked.

Connolly is a great store to visit. On a side note I can't help but wish for the phone holster in brown leather to re-create the Spectre look.
That shoulder holster. Expensive, but man walking to the water cooler without my jacket on 😮Also putting it on in the morning would make me feel so ready to meet the world - and text it. I’m getting there…

Many watches, even high end ones have bracelets that don't flatten and go much better with a roll.
A bit overpriced but it is what it is.
