Romain Grosjean nearly won at Long Beach last year. He has been fast on the street circuits. I expect Andretti and Penske to be the top contenders for tomorrow's race. F1-IndyCar-NASCAR Tripleheader on TV tomorrow. Can't wait.
Awesome interview with Cara from Firestone!! I had no idea about the rubber sustainability and I've never really thought of that before. I learned a lot from that interview and it's pretty cool they take that into consideration. I learned something today! Great job David! So cool to see how far you've gone with this channel!!
I know it's too early to call it, I know it's too early to get my hopes up, I know it's too early to get excited about it, But screw it, COME ON GROSJEAN!!!
IM HYPED! This season is somehow a bigger leap than last year I think. Glad to Andretti somewhat back, hopefully they keep it that way. Also love the music and more journalistic style to the video.
Gotta love how when talking to Scotty Mac and you mentioned Bus Bros that Josef immediately turned around for the fist bump explosion before returning to his own interview.
If what we have seen in this tiny sampling so far holds true, then only DNF's should keep the Andretti team from contending for the title in September. Good for Grosjean!
Romains literally had two seasons in indycar with the first being more for fun than anything not even running the whole season and gets a top seat in his first full season and has some bright spots honestly and all that after 20 years of learning a different style of driving in Europe and f1 being in his mid 30s already and david land still trys to crap on him every chance he gets lmao 😂😂
IKR. It’s honestly ridiculous, I don’t get why he and many others here in the US shit on him. He’s not a bad driver. But I do have a suspicion that it has something to do with the resentment to formula 1
@@owenoseroff I’ve got a sticker of Romain’s number on my laptop. I think some of it comes because Europeans generally say (stereotypically) the drivers in Indycar aren’t that good and that any F1 driver would dominate the championship. So when Romain has some struggles and it’s explained away that causes some frustration. Then on the flip side of the coin some F1 fans will point out the skill of Indy drivers in F1 like Alex Rossi, as if he ever had a shot in that dumpster fire of a team he was in. By no means what’s actually going on, just a guess. I have seen the unwarranted hate as well.
@Owen Oseroff because of the IndyCar community (specifically the IRL fans of the past.. Indy 500-centric, etc..)... they don't like outsiders and Romain is the epitome of an outsider. Yet they cry about IndyCar not growing.. it honestly baffles me.
With Grosian starting 1st and Herta 2nd, Grosian will not let up. I hope Herta has a solid grasp of the pit strategy they want with the ability to make changes with the curve balls being thrown.
Yeah you can highlight 20 years all you want, but already in 2003 CART was using visor cam when F1 has just been using it branding it: brand new. Yeah right.
Distinguish yourself as a series with discipline or innovation, unfortunately Indy Car can’t distinguish itself in either field. 12 year old cars, 14 seconds slower than F1 on road courses, barely any ovals. No innovation. No new discipline. Sure there’s 27 cars, but that’s doesn’t mean more eyes on the sport.
Indycar is putting together such a great product, they just have to figure out a way to get more eyes on it.
Well there's plenty of racing tracks in Europe that indycar never uses!
@@callumbush1 They absolutely need to be more proactive overseas
They need a drive to survive style show
The need to race outside North America afew times a year. (Mainly Brazil, Argentina, Australia , and Japan).
More commercial breaks and sponsors would do it.
If it wasn’t for DL we wouldn’t get any Indy Car news. Thanks David I appreciate it.
as a f1 fan, its great to see romain and marcus flourish in indycar!
Glad you’re watching! Also happy to see Romain and Marcus doing well.

Marcus is my favorite driver. Glad you got to talk to him. I love how open all the drivers are with the media
Damn! You are always improving your content and production! You don’t fail to impress me! Keep it up, best regards from Spain!
Watching these has me missing St. Pete even more. Fantastic work, the quality of your videos only get better and better!

This is your best video yet! So professional and entertaining, thanks David!
Great video David ! Really enjoyed Firestone segment.
Super interesting on the Firestone tyres - thanks for highlighting that.
david you are going to be the next wtf1 only growing and getting better. Now we wait for indycar to get a netflix series ;) good stuff as always!!
April 27 their series 100 days to Indy start.
Kinda like drive to survive
Not the best analogy as WTF1 is heading down the toilet now Matt and Tommy have jumped ship.
Nice graphics buddy, getting bigger this channel 👍 well done
Well done. Love your updates.

A great weekend so far... hopefully there isnt 50000000 commercials to ruin the race on my peacock account

Met you at the track today. Thank you for the quick chat!
Great video and content!
Learned a lot about tires!!
I would love to go to St. Pete one day
here's to tomorrow, everyone!

@@danieltrovato6766 exactly 😂
the other day F1 released an animated video of F1 for newbies, why isn't IndyCar doing the same using curious ways of reaching young audiences?

A triple header of racing and we're not near memorial day

A little Spanish pronunciation tip:
The A in "Agustín" is pronounced like the A in "Apple"
Watched F1 and Indycar qualifying. Looking forward to the Indycar race. I know nothing will happen in the F1 race.

Sorry Firestone rep no racing experience so just a mouth for pr
The disrespect to Romain is insane. I’m sorry but y’all sh*t on him to much
I wonder why people will lead a comment off with I'm an F1 fan....., am I missing out on a club or something why do people feel the need to say that
Nah it's only the European's saying that plus IndyCar is on Sky Sports F1 in Europe.
I think the intent of the comment to to let the reader know they are not really a fan of what they believe is the inferior series of IndyCar
@@billgulker6187 The IndyCar fanboy inferiority complex in regards to F1 is freeking hilarious 😂
@@stephenwhite1393 What a strange reply.
That's Grosjean's starting position not his sexual preference, right?...lol

Man have you raised the level of your channel.
Sustainability is garbage.
They need to get rid of that silly Firehawk mascot.
great ending to the video dude!
