You said yourself, "Cause the genre is more popular." It's popular because it's a good genre, it's as simple as that. I understand wanting more Melodeath, but also as a musician, I can understand after them making 5 albums of melodeath how they would want to move on to something else. Their old albums aren't going anywhere, and no band will be making any better Melodeath any time soon.
