originally from mississippi. parents weren’t in the picture so much so he made money playing where ever he could to essentially raise edgar. he got a chance to do more wokr in texas through an agent and took off. later sending for edgar. both made serious marks on the music biz. other guitar players learned from him and his style and gave him little or no credit. he gave credit to old gospel and work songs from life in mississippi. so, if you listen to stevie ray - listen to johnny! tell your friends... peaceout_dave
