That was more than just helpful , this is the reality , I'm currently following a management training online, however I am very aware that the only way for me to get the position that i want is to start working in jobs that i'll qualify as less interesting yet very important for the rest of my career path. There's no way anyone can handle you their baby without knowing who you are and what you can do.

A bit unrelated, but is there any truth to Employers declining to promote you to a Management position because they claim you're too valuable to replace in your current (Individual Contributor)? role? I won't go into too many details, but I've had three different employers (over 13 years) tell me this... Thoughts?
