    I run E3 spark plugs in all my vehicles and motorcycles I had a buddy go ahead and change the spark plugs at the racetrack shaved a full second off his quarter mile time just by doing one thing only changing the spark plugs to E3 plugs.

    The additional mass of the ground strap design increases the nominal compression ratio.

    I’m looking at these for my 1969 400 Pontiac engine..
    As a mechanic whom works in the high tech industry, and around sophisticated machinery. I spotted the benefits these offer in their design and performance, saw it right away!
    i Appreciate your efforts to prove these pieces work, bottom line..
    For the extra monies these E3 are, I consider them well worth the cost for an extra 2-5 HP or whatever it is, in my $50K+++ Rare muscle car.
    And the overall engine running , starting and general RPM operating range not demonstrated here, Has to be noted and mentioned Does exist !
    Especially when you just proved it and adding benefits of durability they bring in their design.
    The running operating uptime increase, improved performance and reduced labor is one major component my job has we are always trying to modify some how some way to our advantage.
    And these actually are one piece that meets this essential aspect which we consider to be another golden nugget..
    Anyway I’m getting too wordy here , so again thx for this time here.
    You just made a sale!!!
    BTW I have two Pontiacs so it’s X2 !!

    It may work if the 3 prong plug takes up cylinder space witch it is doing.

    Has anyone tested the e3 vs the pulstar plugs? I've only seen one video but wasn't done on a Dino with any recordable data.

    i received mixed reviews on the e3's

    It would have been really good if you used a conventional sparkplug as well to compare if any difference

      We have did back to back tests comparing conventional plugs to the E3 and gained and average of 5 HP on a 500 HP Chevy . We have videos posted doing this.

    Different applicatiin, street performance,
    50 % side gapped Autolites are seat of the pants better than plain.
    Maybe Ill test E3. Surely better for longevity, but an extra $25 every 25,000 miles is irrelavent to me.
    Looks good.👍

    Can someone please tell me what that .74 on a E3.74 mean?

    • @loganschardt21
      @loganschardt21 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      And also what are the difference between all the different ones of E3?

    • @Cash2112
      @Cash2112 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The two digit suffix designates the different plug model for specific applications: E3.XX

    May not compatible with some car knock sensor

      It's fine knock sensors are meant to adjust that's why it's a knock sensor

    Keep in mind this guy is sponsored by E3 . Running them a couple of times in a motor does not validate their endurance over time. I've seen too many video reviews of this brand failing after a couple of thousand miles.

      They will fall apart way before you see any improvements.

    E3 is pure $&#&@ in anything other than lawnmowers. Stick with OEM...always

      Mr Boulding, not sure why you feel the need to slander, but it is insulting and unprofessional to do so. I can tell you from real experience and show you with unbiased proven results you are wrong sir.

      @@wpespeedshop this isn't "personal" so there's no slander involved. This is a product for purchase on the open market, and as such open to everyone's opinion and statement of quality. It's why products get "reviewed" and not all reviews are positive.
      I have many friends who are professional mechanics, and car dealers and they will report that the majority of E3 plugs used in modern cars and trucks do NOT hold up to the rigors of these engines. I have personally seen far too many broken E3 plugs and E3 taken out and thrown away after a puny few thousand miles.
      In two cycle engines of power equipment, they are great. OEM for cars is always the best choice as those guys called "engineers" know what they are doing. Not one non owm plug has ever withstood the science and testing to prove they increase performance or mileage. Any increase they state is almost always because ANY new plug will outperform an older worn out plug. The margin of error on Dyno testing also conveniently covers these performance plugs statements of enhancements.

      @@JohnBoulding there is a test done by a guy named Richard Holdner and he tested the e3 against ngk laser platinum and also autolite copper standard design plugs and the e3 did not perform any better, and infact the copper plug came out on top for power. Project Farm also did a test on several different plugs from several companies and the e3's still did not perform the way they are claimed to. Its not slanderous when the plugs dont do anything that they claim to do for performance. There's no reason for people to waste money on such a plug that can be out done by decade's old technology of the standard copper plug. I agree with your opinion on these

    • @JohnBoulding
      @JohnBoulding ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@codydillenbeck4443 thanks for that info. No one should be offended by facts and the E3 folks know their claims are not supported by facts. It's marketing 101 to make claims of added HP, which is never the case. Any Dyno increase in the 3-5 HO range is always within the typical margin of error on a Dyno. For this guy to say I slandered E3 is ludicrous.
      Copper plugs are the best, they just don't last that long. I use OEM morotcraft I. KY 2008 Mazda 6 or NGK g power.

      @@JohnBoulding absolutely agree! Companies and people need to be open to criticism especially when it comes to products out in the market. In my turbo saabs i run ngk's but recently tried out a denso product thats been seeming to give my ignition system better feedback. My cars management system tells knock by a resisted plug and its been seeming to show me little knock counts that werent showing up under the ngk plugs. So its helped me get light throttle fueling down better and now performs much better with standard putting around driving amd increased fuel economy which with e85 is always a bonus lol
