Absolutely gorgeous. Not only is this one of my favorite songs of all time, but Jim Hall is just absolutely incredible. No one played more tastefully. And not to let Petrucciani's performance go unmentioned. Simply virtuosic, on both accounts.
The older I get the more I think Jim Hall is the only guitarist worth listening to. Sure there are many who can get around the fretboard (including me) but he was so musical. So right for the moment and that tone.
Oh my goodness!! This is like a Treasure chest!!!! MY favorite guitar player and my Favorite Pianist And one of my Favorite STANDARD!!!!! Damn Thanks for uploading!
Gran bel commento "lettore725580" !
@uroio8w I have many recordings with Jim Hall being part of a group, where he may not be the "leader" , but his contribution is always so significant - as on his collaboration with Chet Baker and Paul Desmond
Incomparable, Jim hall is 1000 X better than Petrucciani, His knowledge and creativity scares me sometimes, even in quite simple songs like that, you can see it...
@freeqwerqwer I'm not a big fan of Hall's style either. His solos sound super-disjointed. Great tone though - and Petrucciani really rocks on this one.
Jim hall comes from another planet.
finally together again... RIP Jim and Michel
@Damari Crosby fucking suspicious....

If you like this check out Jim Hall playing with Paul Desmond on Bossa Antigua. One of the best albums in the bossa nova/west coast jazz style ever.

Is this from "Power of three"?
Necesito este audio. I need this audio. Does anyone have it or know how to get it?
Anyone know what guitar that is? - Sounds gorgeous!
Joseph Whitaker the headstock looks like a D'angelico.

why you compare a pianist and a guitarist?
love this interpretation but you skip a really beautiful intro

Total idiots who have no taste. These cretins should stay with Lawrence Welk. The rest of us can appreciate genius.
