Excellent I had problems with KOF maximum impact 2 the songs sounded slow and with this configuration I improved it a little not to 100 but at least it is playable I hope more perfect configuration continues
If you find a setting that helped improve performance in PCSX2, then please comment down below so I can test it out myself. UPDATE: I tweaked and experimented with a few settings and I think some settings you should turn on or off: - Anti-Blur should be turned "On", because it generally looks better and it also gives an extra 3 FPS boost, from testing within Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater - If you have a Low End CPU that does not have MORE than 2 cores then I suggest turning off "Enable Multithreaded VU1 (MTVU)", I gained an extra 2-3 FPS when I turned it off. (CPU: i3-4160 (2 core CPU) - Don't turn on FXAA, You will lose about 4-5 FPS. Also if you are interested in knowing how strong your PC must be in order to run any game in PCSX2 then here is my minimum requirements that I would suggest since the official PC minimum requirements are a bit high (This is the official PC minimum requirements for PCSX2 which is already on there official website, but I added a few notes so please read them in the brackets next to each one): Processor (CPU): Dual core with four threads (Yup, you need a good CPU) System memory (RAM): 8GB RAM (4GB of RAM should be enough) Video card (GPU): Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 (I would say a GTX 480 is enough to run 1080p in some games, but 720p works well in every game) AMD Radeon RX 560 (I have an AMD Radeon HD 7750 and it works perfectly with 1080p in most games) Intel Arc A380 (Not sure about Intel GPUs. Note this is GPUs and not intergrated graphics like Intel HD 4000) 2 GB of VRAM (You don't need more than 512MB of VRAM, I tested it out) OpenGL 3.3 compatible DirectX 11 compatible (You can choose between DX11, DX12, Vulkan, Software, but DX11 is the best performance-wise)
In case you're still around i'll provide the information for it . System Model Aspire A515-51G Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz, 1800 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 20.0 GB Total Virtual Memory 28.4 GB NVIDIA MX130/INTEL UHD 620
You don't really need to 100% match the minimum requirements to play games smoothly at native resolution, your CPU is extremely good, You have way too much RAM and your GPU is fine, so PCSX2 should run games smoothly on your PC if you run the games at native resolution@@relaxwithvito6804
Great news, I think the PCSX2 team fix it!!! Yesterday when I start up Silent Hill 2 on PCSX2 on PC it literally stays 60fps (100%) while playing Silent Hill 2 intro cutscene, James looking at the mirror, meeting Angela, meeting pyramid head on the apartment and meeting Eddie. The whole cutscene stays 60fps (100%)! The game also stays 60fps (100%) and runs better!!
Dude thanks this really helped with most of my games but I’m playing bully and it’s still super slow but it works for other games I’m not sure what to do
Yeah, sadly that is also how it is for me, some PS2 games are lightweight to run while others are super intensive and some PS2 games require a strong CPU otherwise if you have a slow CPU, you will get slow motion alot, so I wouldn't 100% recommend upgrading your graphics card or RAM, but get a better CPU since I've seen that helps a lot with slow motion and it allowed me to play at a much higher resolution
@@chosofbPG The game's speed is supposed to say 100% and usually for most games the FPS cap is 60, so if you reach 60 FPS then you should be able to play the game smoothly and you shouldn't have slow motion
damn bro, it might run but it depends on the game you'll play, my HP laptop has a Ryzen 3 3250U but even with these settings changed as seen in the video only a number of games can smoothly run on the PCSX2 emulator
Yeah, I'm sorry but a low end laptop with that slow CPU can't run any game smoothly on PCSX2, PCSX2 requires a pretty good CPU to emulate these PS2 games
Hey, so Gta sa runs at 60 fps on my pc, bit sometimes, the framerate drops to 55 then goes back to 60, is there a way to make the framerate a consistent 60 without any drops? (Thanks in advance)

@@elestirengurme What is your game speed, because if your game speed is at 100%, then that means the game is meant to run at that FPS, so if you get 100% game speed and you are getting 30 FPS then you have to run that game at that framerate sadly
First setting fixed mines. You clutch for this!!
Muchas gracias amigo! Estaba teniendo ese problema con Fight night round 3, y me lo has solucionado!! Eres grande.
Encantado de poder ayudar
This fixed my COD - FINEST HOUR like a charm! So happy to be able to play this gem without having to worry about lagging!😊

Are you playing on pc or Android ?
Lol you can play re4 on pc version without lag
Why would you choose the PS2 version of RE4? It is one of the worst ones
