O yeah! Please take good care of Sierra, she will be your protector out there in the open. The big plus is she love you more then anyone you know, to anyone living off the grid, always have a dog or two, and if not, a peaock is the next best thing for warning.

Good to hear that Sierra is doing better. I’ve had a horse and a couple dogs who had seizures and it is always scary. When my little guy has them, about 1x a month recently, as far as I know I’ve been here and I hold him, also keeping an eye on his mouth so he doesn’t bite his tongue. In humans I’ve seen a stick placed sideways the mouth to prevent that as well. Hoping for her continued good health, and yours!

My dog had Epilepsy. Scared the hell out of me. Phenobarbital daily and they were minor. We did EKG spinal tap...everything. I'm glad Sierra is doing well

I had a dog with epilepsy, the best dog in my life. He lived to 18. Treated with phenobarbital and sodium bromide (I think for 5yrs) Change to a new drug levetiracetam his final 5 yr. he had a good life, keep a close eye on her and she will show signs before a seizure
I saw your video from Mar. 8. I said, hey that road and those mountains look familiar. I was planning to go over there today and hike Withch's canyon but got busy. Nice to see the San Luis Valley in your video. I'm from Center and spend a lot of time over at Penitente.

Yeah, I used to work a similar schedule. Actually had one 2 year period where I worked 7 days a week with only 4 days off that entire time. I realized I was working hard to make someone else's dreams come true so I made the leap to being a full-time nomad. It's not always been easy but I'm very thankful everything has worked out! I keep thinking of the day of her seizure, she seemed fine, but I noticed that you put the paw cream on her pads and from the video it appeared that it was not long after that you stopped filming because she started to seizure. I spent a few years in an emergency 24hr vet service and saw that a lot of things can cause seizures in pets and as dogs can absorb thing through their pads, even though you had used it before, I am thinking it could have led to her seizure. I would … if I were you think about getting dog booties or maybe just use Vaseline and not that paw cream as it probably was the culprit that lead to her seizure. Did you tell the vet you had applied the cream to her pads? You were probably in such a state of shock, you didn't even think about it. I am glad she is on the mend and showing no ill effects. Good luck and God bless you both.
I suggest you start your dog on a strong hi grade CBD oil. Was the only thing that kept my dogs seizures at bay, allowed her to walk, and gave me an extra 2yrs with her. It doesn't work for them all, but it's obviously worth a try. Give a bit every day with food. A vial shud cost between 40-80bux for the real stuff. It's not a joke, it's not goofy, it's medicine.
That poor dog got up cos you were just about yelling at this little box and thought you were mad at the box. And couldn't figure out why you were commuting with a lil' box that didn't talk back. and nothing could fit in that box. Dogs are cool.

Try cbd oil. Give your dog some droplets. Saved my dog. Kindof forget he used to have seizures as a puppy.

Hope all goes well with Sierra. I had a doberman that had his first seizure at 3.5 years old, turned out to be epilepsy.
We linked the flea medication to the seizures. Once we stopped using them it was no longer an issue.
